摘要: An orthodontic article is described comprising a cured composition comprising the reaction product of free-radically polymerizable resin comprising at least one monomer, oligomer and/or polymer, comprising at least two (meth)acryl moieties; a monofunctional reactive diluent; and a polymer or macromolecule comprising a free-radical photoinitiator group. The polymer or macromolecule has a molecular weight of at least 500 g/mole. In one embodiment, the cured composition comprises a first and second photoinitiator wherein at least one is a polymer or macromolecule. Also described are photopolymerizable compositions and methods.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to forming a bond with a high peel resistance between a bonding layer and an adjacent barrier layer. Such articles are particularly useful in the preparation of a device, in particular a luminescent device, and a method is described for assembly of the luminescent device. The luminescent device includes an encapsulation system using flexible transparent barrier film and an ultraviolet (UV) radiation curable (meth)acrylate matrix. The moisture sensitive luminescent material can be, for example, a quantum dot material disposed in a film, or a film construction that includes an OLED structure.

摘要: The present disclosure provides laminates, which include adhesive materials and methods that allow for the removal of contaminants, e.g. particulate contaminants, from a substrate surface. In one embodiment, the laminates include (i) a substrate with contaminant disposed on its surface, (ii) a liquid, adhesive precursor and (iii) a film layer. The liquid, adhesive precursor is disposed between the substrate and the film layer. In another embodiment, the laminates include (i) a substrate with contaminant disposed on its surface, (ii) a cured adhesive layer and (iii) a film layer. The cured adhesive layer is disposed between the substrate and the film layer. The laminates may be used to remove contaminant from the substrate surface by removal of the film layer and the cured adhesive layer, which entraps the contaminant therein.

摘要: An orthodontic article is described comprising the reaction product of a free-radically polymerizable resin; a first free-radical photoinitiator having sufficient absorbance at a first wavelength range; and a second free-radical initiator selected from a second photoinitiator having sufficient absorbance at a second wavelength range, wherein the second wavelength range is different than the first wavelength range, or a thermal free-radical initiator. In some embodiments, the first free-radical photoinitiator exhibits a maximum absorbance at a wavelength of the range of 370-380 nm or 320-330 nm and/or comprises photoinitiator groups selected from acyl phosphine oxide or alkyl amine acetophenone. Also described are photopolymerizable compositions and methods.
