摘要: A light source device has a transparent plate having a smoothened front surface and a roughened rear surface. A light source is disposed adjacent to an end face of the transparent plate. The roughened rear surface has a portion which is inclined and curved and disposed adjacent to the end of the transparent plate remote from the light source. A reflecting plate is disposed adjacent to and extends along the roughened rear surface of the transparent plate. The provision of the inclined and curved surface portion assures that the luminance of the light on the smoothened front surface of the transparent plate is substantially uniform over the entire surface area. The inclined and curved surface portion is represented by the following equation,y=H--(H-h)x.sup.n /L.sup.nwherey is a distance from the smoothened front surface,x is a distance from the light source,L is a length of the transparent plate,H is the value of y at the end face of the transparent plate,h is the value of y at x being L, andn is an arbitrary positive number larger than unity, andwherein the height of the light source is substantially the same as H.

摘要: A vibration damping bushing including: an inner axial member; an outer cylindrical member through which the inner axial member is inserted; a main rubber elastic body elastically connecting the two members; and a stopper member that is fitted onto the inner axial member as a component of a first stopper mechanism that limits relative displacement of the inner axial member against the outer cylindrical member to one side in an axial direction. The inner axial member is formed with a latching depression that opens toward an outer periphery thereof, and the stopper member is provided with a latching piece that protrudes outward in the axial direction. The latching piece is engaged with the latching depression so as to provide a slipping out prevention mechanism for preventing the stopper member from slipping out from the inner axial member.

摘要: A content distribution system. A distribution management and unauthorized operation management device generates a one-time URL by using URL of content information specified by a user terminal and transmits the one-time URL and bandwidth information concerning the content information to the user terminal. A session control server extracts the one-time URL from a session control message transmitted from the user terminal, transmits it to the distribution management and unauthorized operation management device, and establishes a session between the content distribution server and the user terminal according to an authentication result performed by using the one-time URL transmitted from the distribution management and unauthorized operation management device and a correlation result obtained by correlating the bandwidth information contained in the session control message transmitted from the user terminal with the bandwidth information transmitted together with the authentication result from the distribution management and unauthorized operation management device.

摘要: A rail manufacturing method is provided, in which a billet is hot-rolled into a rail form and the rail is cooled to ambient temperature. The foot part of the rail can be mechanically restrained to improve the straightness of the rail during at least the period of cooling where the surface temperature is between 800° C. and 400° C. In the subsequent cooling process, at least while the surface temperature of the foot of the rail is between 400° C. and 250° C., the rail is kept in an upright state, and cooled naturally without using insulation or accelerated cooling.
