    摘要: The first subject of this invention is a column packing material comprising: a silica gel having a silanol group; a first chemical modification group which is bound to said silanol group; a silicone polymer for coating the surface of said silica gel; and, a trimethylsilyl group which is bound to the silanol group on said silicone polymer and/or the silanol group on said silica gel. The second subject of this invention is a method for producing a column packing material comprising the following steps (A) to (C): (A) a step for introducing a first chemical modification group into a silanol group on the surface of a silica gel by reacting the silica gel with a silane coupling agent having said first chemical modification group; (B) a step for forming a silicone polymer coating on the surface of said silica gel by polymerizing one or more silicone compounds on the surface of the silica gel after step (A); and, (C) a step for trimethylsilylating a silanol group on said silicone polymer and/or a silanol group on said silica gel using an end-capping agent after step (B).

    摘要: A packing material for liquid chromatography, comprising particles having a silicone polymer film coated on substantially the entire surface thereof, the packing material being produced by a process comprising the steps of:(a) bringing at least one silicone compound having the general formula (I):(R.sup.1 HSiO).sub.a (R.sup.2 R.sup.3 SiO).sub.b (R.sup.4 R.sup.5 R.sup.6 SiO.sub.1/2).sub.c (I) wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, and R.sup.3 represent, independently, a hydrocarbon residue having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with at least one halogen atom, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, and R.sup.6 represent, independently, hydrogen or a hydrocarbon residue having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, which may be substituted with at least one halogen atom, a is zero or an integer of 1 or more, b is zero or an integer of 1 or more, c is zero or 2, and a+b+c is 3 to 300, into contact with particles, whereby the silicone compound is polymerized on substantially the entire surface of the particles, and(b) crosslinking unreacted Si--H groups in the presence of a catalyst, or(c) carrying out an addition reaction of a vinyl compound having up to 40 carbon atoms to unreacted Si--H groups.

    摘要: A liquid chromatograph and a column packing material effectively condensing cationic specimen and exhibiting a high resolution. The liquid chromatograph includes a pre-focusing column (30, 40) having a volume of less than 2.0 milliliters and packed with a column packing material, in which a porous support is coated by a silicone polymer having a Si—R—X (R is a spacer part, X is a sulfonic group) bond and a Si—R′ (R′ is a hydrophilic group) bond, wherein the specimen to be analyzed is supplied to the pre-focusing column in the state dispersed in a solvent for condensation. The condensed specimen is then separated in a separation column (16, 43) used for separating the specimen dispersed in the solvent, and the separated specimen is analyzed by a detector (17, 41).
