    摘要: The present invention provides for enhanced bioremediation of hydrocarbon contaminated soils and waters by treating soil or water with a composition comprising of a metal chelated macrocyclic amido amines or mixtures thereof represented by the structural formula: ##STR1## where R is selected from linear or branched alkanes with 8 to 22 carbons, linear or branched alkenes with 4 to 22 carbon atoms;T.sub.1, T.sub.2 and T.sub.3 are independently selected from ethylene, trimethylene, CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 (NHCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2).sub.x where x is an integer from 1 to 10;MaQb is a metal compound wherein M is a cation selected from cations of Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, and Mn; and,Q is an anion selected from nitrate, phosphate anions; and a and b are integers from 1 to 3 necessary to satisfy the valence requirements of M and Q.a phosphorous source, and a diluent.

    摘要: The bioremediation of hydrocarbon contaminated soil is enhanced by applying to the soil a hydrocarbon solution of a surfactant selected from the group consisting of: (a) mixture of a sorbitan ester of a C.sub.7 to C.sub.22 monocarboxylic acid and a polyoxyalkylene adduct of a sorbitan monoester of a C.sub.7 to C.sub.22 monocarboxylic acid, the adduct having from 6 to 50 polyoxyalkylene units, (b) an alkyl glycoside wherein the alkyl group has from about 8 to about 18 carbon atoms and the glycoside is a mono or diglycoside and (c) a mixture of (a) and (b) and (c) and thereafter applying microbial nutrients to the soil in amounts sufficient to promote the growth of indigenous microorganisms.

    摘要: A process for preparing a functionalized petroleum resin which comprises the steps of: dissolving a petroleum resin having a norbornene moiety with a double bond in a solvent to form a solution; adding to the solution a borane compound having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are alkyl or cycloalkyl groups having about 1 to about 10 carbonations; reacting said petroleum resin with said borane compound at about room temperature for a sufficient period of time to form a borane intermediate; and reacting said borane intermediate with a chemical agent to convert said borane intermediate into said functionalized petroleum resin.

    摘要: This invention relates to a method for enhanced recovery of petroleum from a subterranean oil-bearing formation. More particularly, this invention relates to secondary or tertiary recovery of oil employing a polymer thickened aqueous drive fluid. The polymeric viscosifier for the drive fluid is selected from a class of hydrophobically associating water soluble polymers containing one or more water soluble monomers and a water insoluble monomer or group. The water soluble groups are acrylamide and a salt of an ethylenically unsaturated sulfonic acid and the water insoluble group is a higher alkyl acrylamide. These polymers, when dissolved in an aqueous brine solution, have the ability to substantially increase the viscosity of the solution. The control of displacement fluid mobility results in more uniform sweep efficiency and improved oil recovery. In addition, aqueous solutions of these hydrophobically associating polymers exhibit enhanced viscosification, reduced salt sensitivity and other desirable rheological properties found useful in chemically enhanced oil recovery processes.

    摘要: The copolymerization of water soluble monomers with water insoluble monomers can be effected by dissolving the water insoluble monomer into a homogeneous mixture of oil, surfactant, and cosurfactant and then diluting this with water containing the water soluble monomer to yield a predominently aqueous, homogeneous, transparent dispersion of microemulsion droplets. The polymerization is initiated with water soluble free radical initiators to give copolymers that are free of visible particulates and such that the reaction product remains homogenous. The components are chosen to yield copolymers that are water soluble and which viscosify at low concentrations.
