Abstract: A content output control device includes: a memory that stores a rule definition including: an arbitration policy when contents are assigned to areas or zones; and a constraint expression; an arbitration unit that arbitrates the contents according to the rule definition to satisfy a rule-based arbitration upon receiving an output request from an application; and an output control unit that controls an output of the contents assigned to the areas or the zones. When one area or zone is re-arbitrated, the arbitration unit re-arbitrates a different one area specified as an influence area that influences the one area due to an re-arbitration thereof, or a different one zone specified as an influence zone that influences the one zone due to an re-arbitration thereof.

Abstract: In a presentation control, another presentation request of another content is accepted from another application while presenting a content of one application, which content is preferentially presented is arbitrated based on a rule definition including: an attribute of the content that defines either a cancellation for withdrawing the presentation request or an on-standby without withdrawing the presentation request; and a constraint equation that defines an exception rule for defining a setting of the content that has lost arbitration as either the on-standby or the cancellation; and one of the contents arbitrated is presented to a presentation area.

Abstract: A vehicle control apparatus is mounted on a vehicle including an emergency stop function to detect an abnormal state of a driver and automatically stop the vehicle. The vehicle control apparatus provides control at a time of stopping the vehicle and includes process execution sections and a process stop section. The process execution sections perform predetermined emergency processes in response to the emergency stop function stopping the vehicle; the emergency processes control instruments mounted on the vehicle and use a battery of the vehicle as a driving power source. The process stop section stepwise stops at least part of the emergency processes performed by the process execution sections based on a predetermined stop sequence.
