摘要: A high-pressure pump includes a pressurizing chamber forming portion, a suction passage forming portion, a seat member, a valve member, a cylindrical member, a needle, a movable core, a biasing member, a fixed core, and a coil including a winding portion. The coil generates an attractive force between the fixed core and the movable core when the winding portion is energized. The coil includes an outer cylindrical surface and multiple inner cylindrical surfaces that have different diameters. The multiple inner cylindrical surfaces are arranged in order of increasing diameter in a direction toward a pressurizing chamber. The movable core has an end surface that faces the fixed core, and the end surface of the movable core is located between a center, in an axial direction, of a smallest diameter one of the plurality of inner cylindrical surfaces and a center, in an axial direction, of the outer cylindrical surface.

摘要: A high pressure pump includes a pressurization portion, a discharge portion, a body portion, a valve member, a holding member, and an urging member. The body portion includes a relief passage defining portion, an inlet defining portion, a valve seat, and an outlet defining portion. An outlet of the body portion is located apart in a separation direction from an inlet of the body portion. The valve member includes an outer wall surface closing the outlet of the body portion. When the valve member contacts the valve seat, a first distance between an edge portion of the outer wall surface of the valve member facing in a contact direction and an edge portion of the outlet defining portion facing in the contact direction is larger than a second distance between the valve member and the holding member.

摘要: An electromagnetic body has a movable core reciprocatably movable within a movable core chamber. The movable core has through holes and a fitting hole that pass through the movable core in a direction of movement of the movable core. A stator core facing the movable core defines the movable core chamber together with the electromagnetic body. A valve stem is fixed into the fitting hole and has a fluid chamber recessed from a first end surface facing the stator core. Air bubbles generated in a gap can be guided into the fluid chamber and collapse by flow of the fuel flowing into the fluid chamber from the through holes through the gap.

摘要: A housing-includes a pressurizing chamber. A plunger is moved to increase and decrease a volume of the pressurizing chamber, so that the plunger can pressurize the fuel in the pressurizing chamber. A fuel chamber forming portion is placed on a radially outer side of the plunger and forms a fuel chamber that is communicated with the pressurizing chamber. A pulsation damper is placed in an inside of the fuel chamber and is operable to reduce pressure pulsation of the fuel in the fuel chamber. Fixable portions are placed on a radially outer side of the plunger while each of the fixable portions includes a receiving through-hole. The fixable portions are fixed to an engine with bolts, which are provided to correspond with the receiving through-holes, respectively. The fuel chamber forming portion is displaced from axes of the receiving through-holes.

摘要: A valve seat has an inner passage and outer passages. A suction valve member has first passages and a first projection portion that guides, to the first passages, the fuel that flows from a pressure chamber at the time of valve opening. Therefore, an action force by the dynamic pressure applied to the suction valve member in the valve closing direction is reduced. An action force by the pressure of fuel that flows into pressure equalization grooves counterbalances the action force by the dynamic pressure of the suction valve member. Therefore, self-closing by the dynamic pressure can be inhibited, and the maximum output of an electromagnetic driving unit can be reduced. Fuel flows through a passage radially outside the suction valve member and the first passages. A fluid passage area is securable even when a lift amount of the suction valve member is small.

The valve hold member surrounding and holding the large diameter portion. The limiting portion capable of limiting a motion of the valve hold member in a separation direction. According to this, a pressure in a fuel rail from extraordinarily increasing again after the relief valve is opened once.

At least one of the intermediate member and the relief seat member includes an annular recess that fluidly connects the first passage and the second passage. The annular recess is recessed from a surface of the at least one of the intermediate member and the relief seat member facing the other.
