摘要: A pyroelectric infrared radiation detector is capable of removing internal noise generated in a pyroelectric element as well as noise due to a power source in the manner that the induction noise of exterior high-frequency noise due to an inductance component in an outer lead wire is removed by connecting a second filter to a drain electrode of a FET, and the high-frequency interior noise is removed by installing a first filter between the pyroelectric element and FET. Therefore, a body sensing signal can be obtained by using only one pyroelectric element.

摘要: An infrared object detector, especially for an air conditioner is provided with a light receiving unit including a light block between a pair of hemispherical Fresnel lenses arranged in parallel on a printed circuit board, so that light receiving views intersect each other to thereby define three detection areas. From a signal output from the light receiving unit, the distance to a detected object is determined through a signal processing circuit and a program built in a microcomputer. The rotational speed of a fan in the air conditioner is classified into three stages according to the determined distance, and a command is issued for controlling the operation of an air conditioner according to the number, movements, movement degrees to persons. Therefore, the airflow of the air conditioner is controlled based on the command, thereby performing an optimum air conditioning. Further, the infrared object detector can be applied to a camcorder or a camera, to determine the distance to an object more accurately.

摘要: Example embodiments relate to a method and apparatus for pump fault prediction. A method of predicting a pump fault according to example embodiments may include collecting data in real time for qualitative variables associated with a pump and a corresponding semiconductor fabricating process, wherein the pump is configured to create a vacuum in a chamber during the semiconductor fabricating process. Principal components may be identified based on the collected data. Principal components exerting a primary influence on the operation of the pump may be selected from the identified principal components. A management variable may be generated to represent variations of the selected principal components. The management-variable may be monitored in real time to predict a pump fault. A pump fault prediction apparatus according to example embodiments may include a sensor connected to a pump to collect data in real time for qualitative variables associated with the pump and a corresponding semiconductor fabricating process. A controller may be connected to the sensor and may determine that the pump is in an abnormal state if the management variable (e.g., T2 value) exceeds an upper control line.

摘要: A method for controlling vibrations occurring during a spin cycle of a washing machine includes the steps of: setting vibration patterns according to the vibration frequencies and period of the washing machine using piezoelectric effect; setting an optimal speed pattern of a motor of the washing machine with respect to each vibration pattern; detecting the vibration frequencies and period of the washing machine using the piezoelectric effect; obtaining a vibration pattern according to the detected vibration frequencies and period; and controlling the motor with the optimal speed pattern with respect to the obtained vibration pattern. Also, a vibration controlling circuit includes: a memory for storing vibration patterns and an optimal speed pattern with respect to each of the vibration pattern; a vibration sensor for generating a rectangular-wave signal using a piezoelectric effect; a first counter for counting the pulse occurrence frequencies of the rectangular-wave signal; a second counter for counting the pulse occurrence period of the rectangular-wave signal; and a microprocessor for collecting the output data of the first and second counters, obtaining a corresponding vibration pattern by comparing the collected data with the data stored in the memory, and controlling a motor of the washing machine. Thus, excessive vibrations in the washing machine can be prevented with high accuracy and precision and also the dehydration time and power consumption can be reduced.
