The invention relates to a method for coating a metal surface with an aqueous composition, characterized in that the composition contains, in addition to water: a) at least one organic film former that contains at least one water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer with an acid number ranging from 5 to 200, b) at least one particulate inorganic compound with an average particle diameter measured by a scanning electron microscope in the range of from 0.005 to 0.3μ, c) at least one slip additive and/or at least one corrosion inhibitor, d) optionally at least one organic solvent, e) optionally at least one silane and/or siloxane, f) optionally at least one cross-linking agent, and g) optionally at least one chromium (VI) compound. The clean metal surface is contacted with the aqueous composition and a particle-containing film is formed on the metal surface which is then dried. The dried and optionally also cured film has a layer thickness ranging from 0.01 to 10 μm. The invention further relates to a corresponding aqueous composition.

The invention relates to a method for treating metallic surfaces consisting of zinc, magnesium or aluminium or of the alloys of zinc, magnesium or aluminium, to which lacquer, coatings of plastic material, paint, sealants or adhesives are applied after treatment. The treatment of the metallic surfaces takes place at between 10° C. and 100° C. by immersion, spraying or rolling with an aqueous solution. The solution has a pH of between 2 and 13 and contains one or more compounds of the type XYZ at a concentration of between 10−5 and 1 mol/l. Y is an organic group containing between 2 and 50 C atoms and has a straight-chain structure. X is a COOH, HSO3, HSO4, (OH)2PO, (OH)2PO2, (OH)(OR′)PO or (OH)(OR′)PO2 group. Solar radiation or artificial radiation acts upon the reaction medium for effecting a photochemical or photobiological treatment. The inlet chamber (12) connected with the tube bundle (10) comprises a flow distributor (16) which distributes the reaction medium from the fluid inlet (15) to the tubes (11). The flow distributor (16) allows for a smaller volume of the inlet chamber (12). The reactor volume, which is not irradiated, is thus reduced, and the efficiency of the rector is enhanced.

Process for making a filled confectionery product, in particular a filled chocolate product, using a modified one-shot process to add a filling material and a cover material to a pre-made shell material. The modified one-shot process deposits an edible filling and an edible material into an edible shell that is previously manufactured. The filling material may comprise water-based fillings and fat-based fillings. The edible shell and cover material may comprise chocolate, candy, caramel, toffee, or similar edible materials. The one-shot depositor deposits the edible filling and the edible material substantially simultaneously into the edible shell. The edible filling becomes encased in the edible shell and the edible material forms a covering on the open end of the edible shell to form the filled confectionery product.
