    摘要： One aspect of the present invention provides a system for controlling display cells modulating light based on image data. The system comprises an input controller and a display controller. The input controller is configured to receive a series of image data groups with each image data group having N bits arranged in subgroups, wherein each subgroup has a subgroup value and a subgroup position corresponding to one cell of a group of cells. The input controller is configured to determine a comparison value for each subgroup position based on subgroup values at corresponding subgroup positions of a current image data group and a preceding image data group. The input controller is further configured to provide an update signal based on the comparison values, and to provide an update image data group having less than N bits and representative of the current image data group when the update signal indicates reduced data transmission. The display controller is configured to receive the update signal and the update image data group, and to update the group of cells based on the update signal with N bits of data from at least one of: the update data group, the preceding data group, and a function of the update and preceding data groups.

    摘要： In a solar concentrator of a type having a curved mirror adapted to focus light onto an energy collecting body mounted at the mirror's focal axis, an alignment correction apparatus and method includes a linear array of light detectors adapted to be mounted at a bottom of and across a centerline of the curved mirror so as to intercept the shadow cast by the energy collecting body mounted along the focal axis. Outputs of each of the detectors are measured and plotted according to an order of arrangement of the light detectors on the array. The output results in a dip across adjacent detectors when a shadow falls across the array. A shadow detection means is adapted to determine a center point of the dip and correction means are configured to output a correction command if the center point is different from an optimal position.

    摘要： A data interleaving device is provided that includes an input, an output, and a data interleaver coupled to the input and the output. The input receives data originating from a plurality of processing blocks. The output transfers interleaved data to the plurality of processing blocks. The data interleaver includes a controller, at least one interconnection module, and a plurality of memories. The controller prepares a data-to-memory assignment data structure. The at least one interconnection module switches data in parallel according to the data-to-memory assignment data structure and acts identically on all data switched simultaneously in parallel. The plurality of memories store the switched data. The data interleaver interleaves data received from the input and provides the interleaved data at the output.
