摘要: Abstract of the Disclosure: Polymers of olefinically unsaturated monomers and solutions of these polymers are obtainable by a process in which the olefinically unsaturated monomers are polymerized in the presence of a free radical initiator in solution under polymerization conditions which are otherwise predetermined, in such a way that the solvent and/or a liquid part of one or more reactants of the polymerization batch are initially taken and heated to the polymerization temperature, and some or the total amount of the monomers to be polymerized is fed continuously to the agitated initially taken part of the polymerization batch via one or more feeds, with maintenance or initiation of the polymerization, in such a way that the outlet orifice of the one or more feeds is located below the surface of the initially taken liquid part of the polymerization batch.

摘要: Readily filterable and deodorizable aqueous dispersions of pressure-sensitive adhesive, especially for self-adhesive labels, having solids contents of more than 65%, can be prepared with readily reproducible properties by copolymerizing esters of acrylic and/or methacrylic acid in the presence of less than 50 ppm of inhibitor and, preferably, in the presence of from 0.01 to 5% by weight of reducing agent by a special emulsion technique. The highly concentrated pressure-sensitive adhesive dispersion, subsequently deodorized with steam, is free from coagulum and seediness.

摘要: Described is a polymer film with multiphase film morphology. The polymer film, within a layer, has regions of a first polymer and regions of a second polymer, and is prepared from an aqueous polymer dispersion, comprising the two polymers in dispersed form and a tackifier. The glass transition temperature of the second polymer is greater than that of the first polymer and less than 20° C. The concentration of the tackifier in the polymer film is greater in the regions of the first polymer than in the regions of the second polymer. Described also are polymer dispersions for producing polymer films with multiphase film morphology, and also applications as adhesive, coating or sealant, as for example for producing self-adhesive paper labels.
