    摘要: A receiver drier comprises a housing and a filter unit. The housing includes a moisture absorbing chamber and a longitudinally spaced filter chamber. The filter chamber includes an inlet formed adjacent a first portion of an inner circumferential surface thereof and an outlet formed adjacent a second portion of the inner circumferential surface. The filter unit is received within the filter chamber and includes a main body defining a first filter compartment therein. A first surface of the first filter compartment is defined by a first screen element fluidly coupling an interior of the first filter compartment to an exterior thereof. The flow of the refrigerant enters and exits the first filter compartment while flowing in a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the receiver drier.

    摘要: A combination heat exchanger comprises a first heat exchanger assembly and a second heat exchanger assembly. The first heat exchanger assembly includes a first end tank, a second end tank, and a first heat exchanger core including a plurality of first heat exchanger tubes extending longitudinally in a first direction. The second heat exchanger assembly includes a third end tank, a fourth end tank, and a second heat exchanger core including a plurality of second heat exchanger tubes extending longitudinally in the first direction. A first coupling includes a first attachment portion rigidly coupled to the first end tank, a second attachment portion rigidly coupled to the third end tank, and a thermal expansion portion extending between the first attachment portion and the second attachment portion. The first coupling allows for relative translation between the first end tank and the third end tank in the first direction.

    摘要: A tube for use in a heat exchanger includes an upper portion, a base portion spaced from the upper portion, and a partitioning wall depending from the upper portion. The partitioning wall is bent away and spaced from the base portion in a first section of the tube to form a single flow channel within the tube along the first section. The partitioning wall contacts the base portion in a second section of the tube to form a partition separating a first flow channel from a second flow channel along the second section. The first section of the tube is configured for reception into an opening of a header tank of the heat exchanger.
