    摘要: Process for preparing ultrafine powders based on polyamides by contacting polyamides having a relative solution viscosity ηrel in the range from 1.5 to 2.0, measured in 0.5% m-cresol solution at 25° C., with an alcoholic medium in the presence of inorganic particles under the action of pressure and/or temperature to generate an at least partial solution, and then precipitating the polyamide from the at least partial solution, characterized in that a suspension of the inorganic particles suspended in the alcoholic medium is used. The resulting ultrafine polyamide powders have a specific BET surface area in the range of 5-100 m2/g; a fineness d50 of less than 70 μm; an apparent density AD in the range from 250 to 1000 g/l; and a particle content of 0.1 to 80% by weight of inorganic particles based on the total weight of the polyamide powder. They are equally suitable for coatings and for mouldings and components with improved mechanical properties.

    摘要: Compositions comprising an organic polymer as the matrix and inorganic particles as the filler and exhibiting in mixture a) 20 to 99.9% by wt. of an organic polymer and b) 0.1 to 80% by wt. of inorganic particles, where the sum of the constituents a) and b) amounts to 100% by wt.; and optionally c) 0 to 100 parts by weight of b) of various additives, in which case the content of the additives c) relates to the sum of a) and b), calculated as 100 parts by weight. characterized in that the composition can be obtained by incorporating particles and optionally other additives into the polymer matrix, in which case the particles to be incorporated i) are aggregates of globular primary particles; ii) the size of the primary particles is in a range of 0.5 nm to less than 100 nm; iii) the volume-weighted median value d50 of the particles is in a range of greater than 0.50 μm to 0.5 μm, determined by means of static light scattering; and iv) the inorganic particles are modified with functional groups, the inorganic particles exhibiting at least three types of functional groups of varying reactivity. The compositions can be prepared in a number of way, for example, by reprecipitation from the dissolved state or by mixing in an extruder and are used for preparing fibers, films and shaped articles with improved mechanical properties.

    摘要: A molding composition which comprises the following components: a) a semicrystalline copolyamide and b) an effective amount of a crystallization aid selected from nanoscale fillers and metal salts, metal oxides, or metal hydroxides which can react with the carboxy end groups of the copolyamide, where the copolyamide can be prepared from the following monomer combination: α) from 50 to 99 mol % of a lactam or of a corresponding co-aminocarboxylic acid having 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12 carbon atoms or of a substantially equimolar mixture composed of a diamine and of a dicarboxylic acid, where the diamine has been selected from the group of 1,6-hexamethylenediamine, 1,8-octamethylenediamine, 1,10-decamethylenediamine, and 1,12-dodecamethylenediamine, and the dicarboxylic acid has been selected from the group of sebacic acid and 1,12-dodecanedioic acid, and β) from 1 to 50 mol % of a substantially equimolar mixture composed of a diamine and of a dicarboxylic acid, where either the diamine or the dicarboxylic acid or both differ from the diamine used, if appropriate, under α) and, respectively, the dicarboxylic acid used, if appropriate under α), or of another lactam and, respectively, ω-aminocarboxylic acid, is transparent and has good processability, and gives good results in decoration by means of screen printing.
