摘要: A rectangular nickel-metal hydride secondary cell permits improving the air-tightness and-also permits preventing a metal case from being deformed in the step of folding an open end portion of the metal case. The rectangular nickel-metal hydride secondary cell, comprising a rectangular cylindrical metal case having a bottom, an electrode group housed in the metal case, an alkali electrolyte contained in the metal case, a rectangular sealing plate mounted near the open end portion of the metal case; and an insulating gasket interposed in a compressed state between the inner wall near the open end of the metal case and the sealing plate, wherein the metal case comprises a folded portion formed by inwardly folding the open end portion of the metal case and an inwardly projecting stepped portion formed along the inner surface of the metal case below the folded portion, the sealing plate is fixed to the metal case at the portion between the folded portion and the stepped portion of the metal case with the insulating gasket interposed therebetween, the folded portion at a corner portion of the open end portion of the metal case has an angle of 80.degree. to 100.degree..

摘要: A rectangular nickel-metal hydride secondary cell permits improving the air-tightness and also permits preventing a metal case from being deformed in a step of folding an open end portion of the metal case. The rectangular nickel-metal hydride secondary cell, includes a rectangular cylindrical metal case having a bottom, an electrode group housed in the metal case, an alkali electrolyte contained in the metal case, a rectangular sealing plate mounted near the open end portion of the metal case. An insulating gasket is interposed in a compressed state between the inner wall near the open end of the metal case and the sealing plate. The metal case comprises a folded portion formed by inwardly folding the open end portion of the metal case and an inwardly projecting stepped portion formed along the inner surface of the metal case below the folded portion. The sealing plate is fixed to the metal case at the portion between the folded portion and the stepped portion of the metal case with the insulating gasket interposed therebetween, the folded portion at a corner portion of the open end portion of the metal case has an angle of 80.degree. to 100.degree.. Such a secondary cell can be formed by a process which includes charging-discharging cycles, an aging step, and a full charging step.

摘要: The present inventors carried out immunization using renal/urinary calculus-derived calcified globules or carotid artery-derived arteriosclerotic plaques, and then obtained antibodies specific to calcified globules (NLO) via screening with NLO. The present inventors demonstrated that the antibodies reacted specifically to arteriosclerotic lesions (calcified lesions) and visualized arteriosclerotic plaques (in particular, calcified lesions) by using fluorescently labeled antibodies. Accordingly, the present inventors completed the present invention.

摘要: A telephone handset mounting cradle includes a housing provided along its lower edge with opposed oppositely opening grooves. The bottom of the housing includes a relief. A bracket includes opposed, facing slides for engaging the grooves and a spring clip for engaging the relief to lock the cradle to the bracket. A screw pivotally couples the bracket to a first plate about a first axis. Additional screws pivotally couple the first plate to a second plate about a second axis perpendicular to the first. 摘要: A control device has a throttle valve and fuel injection valves supplying air and fuel to an internal combustion engine, a meter detecting an actual quantity of the air supplied to the engine, a sensor detecting an actual oxygen concentration of an exhaust gas outputted from an exhaust system of the engine, and an ECU controlling the valves. To regenerate an exhaust emission purifier disposed in the exhaust system at a target temperature appropriate to the regeneration of the purifier, the ECU determines a target oxygen concentration corresponding to a target air-fuel ratio and a basic air quantity according to a torque required of the engine and controls the valves according to the actual air quantity and the actual oxygen concentration to supply a basic quantity of fuel and the basic quantity of air to the engine at the target air-fuel ratio.
