    摘要: A laser resonator includes; an optical oscillator including a discharge tube, and a pair of reflecting mirrors arranged at both ends of the discharge tube while inner surfaces of the mirrors confront each other; electrodes confronting each other with the discharge tube held therebetween; a gas pipe connected to the optical oscillator, and a gas circulating device connected to the gas pipe for circulating laser gas, wherein the laser resonator generates laser light when a voltage impressed to the electrodes invites discharge of the discharge tube while laser gas is circulated in the discharge tube by the gas circulating device. The laser resonator further includes a diffraction grating provided at one outer surface of either of the pair of reflecting mirrors to take out a part of the laser light passing through the reflecting mirror in a direction of a predetermined angle, and a photodetector for detecting an intensity of the laser light, the photodetector being disposed in the direction of the predetermined angle of that part of the taken-out laser light.

    摘要: A laser machining apparatus includes a laser generator for generating a laser beam and a driver unit for moving the laser beam relatively with respect to a workpiece as to emit the laser beam on the workpiece. The laser beam includes plural laser pulses. The laser pulses have spots each having a longitudinal direction. The driver unit moves the laser beam in the longitudinal direction relatively with respect to the workpiece so that the spots overlap each other. This laser machining apparatus can process the workpiece at high quality and high productivity.

    摘要: A reliable galvano-mirror employed for laser machining is disclosed. The mirror is far reduced its weight for getting a higher rotation. On the rear surface of the mirror, a lightweight rib-structure, which is formed from a mirror support beam centered across the surface and some ribs extending from the beam, holds the mirror. Against a distortion occurred in rotating at high speed, the mirror is provided with a high rigidity. And the mirror is structured integrally with the motor shaft holder. Besides, a slit is formed between the rib disposed close to the holder and the support beam centered across the rear surface of the mirror. Providing slit enables to minimize a local distortion caused by a stress from fastening screws to attach the mirror to the motor shaft.

This structure offers stable machining by ensuring that the laser beam always enters the intensity-converting element at its center, even if the pointing vector of the laser beam shifts.

    摘要: This is to present a laser machining method and a laser machining apparatus for drilling holes, capable of achieving conduction securely between adjacent conductive layers, by detecting the machining state of a workpiece adequately, and controlling the machining. For this purpose, the number of laser pulse outputs capable of machining securely is preset. During laser machining, reflected laser beam intensity from the workpiece and incident laser beam intensity are detected, and the machining state of the workpiece is detected. As a result, when judging the workpiece has reached a desired machining state, laser machining is finished if the number of times of laser machining has not reached the set number of laser pulse outputs. If it is judged that the workpiece has not reached the desired machining state, laser machining is finished when reaching the set number of laser pulse outputs. As a result, the laser machining method and laser machining apparatus capable of drilling holes of high quality at high yield and shortening the machining cycle time can be realized.

    摘要: In a laser processing machine, a laser control system includes a photo detector (21) detecting intensity of light generated by laser-induced plasma produced by applying laser beams on an object, and a control unit (30) for controlling a laser pulse signal to have an optimum pulse width and optimum pulse period effective in each pulse signal based on the detection signal, so that the optimized laser pulse signal is obtained to thereby automatically control the generation of the laser beams, where the pulse width of each pulse is controlled by the control unit (30) so that the detection signal outputted from the photo detector (21) has its peak values to be all equal to a constant level (Vp), and the pulse period of each laser pulse signal is so controlled as to have a reference threshold level (Vr) which is previously given by the material of the object, and thus the total processing time in perforating process can be remarkably reduced.
