摘要: A vehicle is equipped with a battery configured so as to be rechargeable, a motor generator configured so as to generate the driving force of the vehicle by use of electric power stored in the battery, a switch configured so as to switch between generation of a command for extending the use period of the battery and stop of generation of the command, and an ECU for controlling the state of charge of the battery. The ECU sets the control range of SOC of the battery. When the switch stops generation of the command, the ECU sets the control range to a first range. Meanwhile, when a command is generated by the switch, the ECU sets the control range to a second range narrower than the first range.

摘要: A vehicle is provided with a battery, a motor configured to generate the driving force of the vehicle by using electric power stored in the battery, a charger configured to supply the battery with electric power outputted from a power source outside the vehicle, and an ECU configured to control the charged state of the battery when the battery is charged. The ECU calculates an index value indicating the charged state of the battery, and sets the control range of the index value. When a predetermined condition relating to the deterioration of the battery is satisfied, the ECU raises the upper limit value of the index value.

摘要: A generator-motor includes a control circuit. The control circuit is provided on an end surface of a motor. The control circuit includes a Zener diode, a capacitor, a U-phase arm, a V-phase arm, and a W-phase arm. The Zener diode, the capacitor, the U-phase arm, the V-phase arm, and the W-phase arm are connected in parallel between a positive bus and a negative bus. The Zener diode absorbs a surge voltage applied to the capacitor, the U-phase arm, the V-phase arm, and the W-phase arm.

摘要: A generator-motor includes an alternator, electrode plates, a substrate, MOS transistors, and an MOS driver. Electrode plates are arranged on an end surface of the alternator so as to substantially form a U-shape to surround a rotation shaft of the alternator. MOS transistors are arranged on the electrode plate, while MOS transistors are arranged on the electrode plates respectively. The MOS driver is provided on the substrate arranged in a substantially U-shaped notch, and controls turn-on/off of the MOS transistors.

摘要: A regenerative braking system for a vehicle utilizing diversion of energy for efficient use or maintaining consistent vehicle performance. The regenerative braking system includes a generator for producing regenerative energy during slowing and includes switches connected to a battery and a plurality of devices. A processor is connected with the battery and the switches for controlling the configuration of the switches based on a characteristic of the battery. If the battery has a state of charge exceeding a predetermined threshold, the processor controls the switches to route the regenerative energy to the other devices. The processor also controls the switches to provide regenerative energy to specific devices where it may most desirably be utilized. Heating and cooling units of the vehicle may be alternatively or simultaneously connected to receive the regenerative energy for providing consistent vehicle slowing performance when the battery state of charge exceeds the predetermined threshold.

摘要: Converters are connected in parallel with each other to a pair of electric power lines. When required electric power required by a drive force generation unit is not more than a threshold value, a converter ECU causes a voltage converting operation of one of the converters that is associated with a power storage device of a higher output voltage to perform voltage converting operation, and causes the voltage converting operation of the other converter to be stopped, based on output voltages of the power storage devices detected by output voltage detection units. The first power storage device and the second power storage device are configured so that one of the power storage devices has a higher power supply voltage by a predetermined value than the power supply voltage of the other power storage device. The predetermined value is defined based on errors which may be included in detected values of the output voltage detection units.
