    摘要: A stop/start control device (20) applied to a spark ignition internal combustion engine (1). When stop conditions are established, the stop/start control device stops the internal combustion engine (1), and when the restart conditions are established, the stop/start control device restarts the internal combustion engine (1). While interrupting spark ignition of the internal combustion engine (1) in response to the stop conditions being established, the stop/start control device (20) allows fuel supply to the engine (1) to continue. When the restart conditions are established after the stop conditions are established and before the engine (1) completes its stop, the stop/start control device (20) restarts the engine (1) by restarting spark ignition of the engine (1) so that fuel supplied after the stop conditions are established combusts.

    摘要: A stop-start control apparatus for a port injection engine (1) including cylinders (2) stops the engine (1) by stopping fuel injection from each injector (13), when a predetermined stop condition is fulfilled. An estimated position of a piston (5) in each cylinder (2) after the engine (1) is stopped is determined during a stop process period from when the predetermined stop condition is fulfilled until when the engine (1) is stopped, and a compression stroke cylinder in which the piston (5) is to be stopped in a compression stroke is identified. An amount of fuel to be injected from the injector (13) for the compression stroke cylinder during the stop process period is set based on the estimated position of the piston (5) in the compression stroke cylinder. The injector (13) injects the fuel in the set fuel amount so that the fuel is contained in the compression stroke cylinder when the engine is stopped.

    摘要: The stop-start control apparatus (20) is applied to the spark ignition type internal combustion engine (1), stops the internal combustion engine 1 in a case that a prescribed stop condition is fulfilled, and restarts the internal combustion engine (1) in a case that a prescribed restart condition is fulfilled. The control apparatus cuts spark ignition for the internal combustion engine 1 in response to the fulfillment of the stop condition, and carries on fuel supply to the internal combustion engine (1). When a restart condition is fulfilled after the fulfillment of a stop condition and prior to a complete stop of the internal combustion engine (1), the control apparatus restarts the internal combustion engine (1) by resuming spark ignition for the internal combustion engine (1) in order that fuel supplied after the fulfillment of the stop condition burns.

    摘要: An apparatus for detecting imbalance abnormality in an air-fuel ratio between cylinders in a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine comprises a turbocharger, a bypass passage, a waist gate valve, an air-fuel ratio sensor, and a stepless transmission. The imbalance abnormality is detected based upon a variation degree in output of the air-fuel ratio sensor. The internal combustion engine and the stepless transmission are controlled in such a manner that an actual operating point of the internal combustion engine moves on a predetermined operating line in a coordinate system defined by an engine rotational speed and engine torque. The operating line is changed in such a manner that, when the actual operating point is outside of a waist gate valve opening region at the time of detecting the imbalance abnormality, the actual operating point moves into the waist gate valve opening region.

    摘要: A malfunction detection apparatus for detecting a malfunction in an evaporated fuel purge system in which fuel vapor from a fuel tank is adsorbed in an adsorbent in a canister and the adsorbed fuel vapor in the adsorbent is purged into an intake passage of an engine. The apparatus includes a detection part for detecting a concentration of fuel in the fuel vapor purged into the intake passage so that a change in the detected fuel concentration from a time when a purge cutting is performed to a time when a purging is performed after the purge cutting has been performed is detected, and a discrimination part for determining whether there is a malfunction in the system on the basis of the change in the detected fuel concentration by the detection part. The apparatus also includes a fuel vapor detection part for detecting a condition of fuel vapor in the fuel tank, and a purge cut time varying part for varying a purge cut time period for which the purge cutting is continuously performed, the purge cut time being varied by the purge cut time varying part in response to the detected fuel vapor condition by the fuel vapor detection part.
