    摘要: A condenser has an outlet side region close to an outlet for discharging refrigerant from the condenser. The outlet side region does not face auxiliary radiator, which is disposed on a cooling air upstream side of the condenser. Accordingly, low temperature cooling air that does not pass through the auxiliary radiator can flow into the outlet side region of the condenser in which the refrigerant is lowered most. As a result, a difference in temperature between the refrigerant and the cooling air at the outlet side region becomes large. This prevents deterioration of cooling capacity of the condenser.

    摘要: A motor vehicle air-conditioner having a structure that reduces production costs. Main and sub air-mixing doors and an inner-air FOOT door are mechanically interlocked with a single air-mixing door actuator. The shape of an engagement hole of a main link plate of a door-interlock device is formed to correspond to an operation pattern to rotate the main and sub air-mixing doors from MAX COOL to MAX HOT in an interval where a servomotor opening degree is from 0% to 80%. The shape of an engagement hole of a main link plate is such that the plate functions as a lost motion link plate that corresponds to an operation pattern to rotate the inner-air FOOT door from a fully closed state to a fully open state in an interval where the servomotor opening degree is from 80% to 100%. As a result, opening of the inner-air FOOT door becomes difficult even when the main and sub air-mixing doors are opened, and so leakage of conditioned air from a foot vent can be prevented.

    摘要: An air-conditioning device includes a control system for saving fuel consumed to drive the device and for enhancing comfortability of passengers at the same time. The air-conditioning device is operated under a cooling mode emphasizing comfortability or under an economy mode emphasizing fuel economy. Under the cooling mode, the device is controlled in a lower temperature range. Under the economy mode, the device is controlled in an intermediate temperature range to secure comfortability when cooling-down is required, and in a higher temperature range to save fuel after the cooling-down has been completed. Information on vehicle speed may be used in the control under the economy mode. The device may be turned off or controlled in a higher temperature range to save fuel, especially when the vehicle comes to a halt. Frost on a windshield which develops when the vehicle is at a halt for a certain period without operating air-conditioning device is avoided by operating the device at a lower temperature, only when such condition exists. Such condition may be detected by a humidity sensor installed in the passenger compartment.

    摘要: Air for cooling a battery is supplied to the battery from a rear unit through a duct. In this way, the temperature of the air blown to the battery can be reduced in comparison to a case where inside air is taken from a passenger compartment and is supplied to the battery for cooling the battery. Thus, the battery can be sufficiently cooled, so that the amount of air flow supplied to the battery needs not be increased to achieve enough cooling capacity for cooling the battery. As a result, air blowing noises can be reduced, and a reduction in a service life of a second blower can be restrained. Furthermore, since sufficient cooling capacity is achieved, there is no need to increase a radiating surface area of the battery. Thus, an increase in a size of the battery and an increase in a manufacturing cost can be restrained.
