    Abstract: A safety system for a vehicle may include one or more processors configured to determine, based on a friction prediction model, one or more predictive friction coefficients between the ground and one or more tires of the ground vehicle using first ground condition data and second ground condition data. The first ground condition data represent conditions of the ground at or near the position of the ground vehicle, and the second ground condition data represent conditions of the ground in front of the ground vehicle with respect to a driving direction of the ground vehicle. The one or more processors are further configured to determine driving conditions of the ground vehicle using the determined one or more predictive friction coefficients.

    Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include technologies related to Maneuver Coordination Services (MCS) in vehicular networks. Embodiments include Emergency Group Maneuver Coordination (EGMC) for detected unexpected safety-critical situations (USCS) on the road. EGMC provides cooperative maneuver coordination among a group of vehicles to ensure safer collective actions in the case of USCS. Embodiments include Maneuver Coordination Message (MCM) format and structure, details of contents of MCM message, and procedures for Generation and Transmission of MCM with reduced communication overhead.     Abstract: Devices and methods for a road user are provided in this disclosure. An apparatus for determining detection of a road user may include a memory configured to store a plurality of data items received from a plurality of further road users. Each of the plurality of data items may include a detection information indicating whether an object has or has not been detected by one of the plurality of further road users. Furthermore, the apparatus may include a processor that is configured to determine a detection result indicating whether the road user has been detected by the one of the plurality of further road users based on the detection information.
