摘要: A chest drainage system includes a collection device and a fluid pathway configured to extend from the collection device to a patient. The fluid pathway has a proximal portion configured to extend proximally toward the patient and a distal portion configured to extend distally from the patient. The chest drainage system also includes a pressure source including an accumulator configured to selectively provide sub-atmospheric pressure to the distal portion of the fluid pathway and a valve configured to selectively relieve pressure in the proximal portion of the fluid pathway. The system is configured to open the valve and to introduce the sub-atmospheric pressure from the accumulator of the pressure source when a predetermined pressure differential is detected between the proximal and distal portions of the fluid pathway.

摘要: A safety restraint system for a flow line for pressurized liquids, comprising a plurality of axially spaced flow line wraps each having end loops that are releasably connected to an anchor line, the anchor line being further attached at each of its two ends to a relatively immobile anchor structure, and each flow line wrap being removable from the flow line and from the anchor line without detaching either end of the anchor line from its respective anchor structure.

摘要: A method of making a reverse progressive lens has the steps of selecting a standard progressive lens having a distance zone, a transition zone and a near zone; selecting an add determination that is double or more than double in power; reversing the regular progressive lens by orienting it upside down; and cutting away the near zone so that the transition zone becomes the new near zone. To maintain convergence of the corridor channel, one by orders the OS lens with the OD power and the OD lens with the OS power. The method also includes measuring a distance PD, measuring the segment height and keeping the same cylinder axis such that rotating the lens 180° does not change the axis position. Selecting a standard progressive lens may include one with a distance zone, a corridor/transition zone and a near zone.

摘要: A system and method for assessing and potentially correcting for non-translational motion in a resonance measurement apparatus is provided. The design measures the response of an article, such as an HGA assembly including a read/write head, as well as the excitation of a shaking device, such as a head resonance tester, and computes a correction factor using either two or three point measurement. The correction factor may be evaluated by subjecting the arrangement to further vibration at varying frequencies. Measurement of the shaking device may be accomplished using an accelerometer or by optical measurement using a light beam.
