摘要: This invention is directed to a device and a method for assessing a subject. The device has at least one impedance measuring element functionally connected to a programmable element, programmed to analyze an impedance measurement, and to provide an assessment of at least one respiratory parameter of the subject. In another embodiment, the device has at least one small-scale motion measuring element. In another embodiment, the device preferably has a high resolution lens, a camera, and a programmable element, which is programmed to analyze at least one physiological parameter of the subject. The physiological parameter is preferably obtained by measuring differential displacements in the camera's field of view. The method according to the present invention involves recording a physiological parameter, analyzing the parameter to make a prediction, and providing an indication of the prediction to a user.

The information collected by the probe is useful in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. The invention also relates to methods utilizing these probes to analyze a surface of interest, in a minimally invasive manner, in connection with the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

The method includes one or more computers implementing: obtaining an appointment reference from a registrant, predicting the likely behavior of the attendee, transmitting at least one reminder to the attendee based on the predicted likely behavior of the attendee, receiving a response from the attendee; and notifying the registrant of the response received from the attendee. The likely behavior of the attendee is based on at least one of past behavior and compiled demographic behavior.

摘要: Disclosed is a device, method and computer readable media for determining the adequacy of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The device comprises an electrical source generator, an electrical signal sensor receiving a signal from the electrical source generator and a microprocessor. The microprocessor determines changes in impedance of the patient based on the signal received from the electrical signal sensor. Software executing on the microprocessor determines at least one of intrathoracic volume, change in intrathoracic volume, rate of compression, depth of compression, respiratory volume, and respiratory rate based on the change of impedance of the patient and outputs a signal indicating the adequacy of ventilation and compressions.
