摘要: The invention discloses compositions and formulations for the treatment of clean or infected wounds, some of the inventive formulations can be used to reduce or eliminate microbial contamination from surfaces such as skin, and inanimate objects such as countertops, cooking utensils, medical devices, cookware, food, grooming aids and agricultural biocides, and the like. Some of these compositions and formulations are well suited for use in wound dressings. Some of the formulation can kill and/or inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria, fungi, spores and viruses. The formulations comprise a compound such as an osmoticum in high enough concentration to create an osmotic gradient and at least one compound that acts to comprise the integrity of a microorganism's membrane or cell wall. These formulations may optimally include at least one agent that thickens the formulations. In some aspects the formulation is in the form of an emulsion.

摘要: The present invention relates to a reproduction device, a reproduction method, and a program that enable the maintenance of real-time production of encoded video signals while suppressing a visually bad impression. As shown in FIG. 3, load reduction processes executed by a decoder include the following six types of processes: that is, a deblocking filter off process, a B picture simple motion compensation (MC) process, a P picture simple motion compensation (MC) process, a non-store picture frame skip process, a store picture frame skip process, and an only I picture reduction process. These six types of load reduction processes gradually reduce loads (that is, computation amounts) required for decoding by being added one at a time for execution in the described order. The present invention can apply to a decoder of an H.264/AVC, for example.

摘要: The present invention relates to a highly controlled method of preparation of a microporous biodegradable polymeric article. Firstly, at least one biodegradable polymer A, one polymer B, biodegradable or not, partially or totally immiscible with A, and a compatibilizer C for A and B are selected. Secondly, the selected polymers are melt-blended, thereby preparing a polymer blend, wherein said polymers A and B have an essentially continuous morphology. Thirdly, after cooling, polymer B and compatibilizer C are selectively extracted from the polymer blend by dissolution in a solvent that is a non-solvent of polymer A. The resulting polymeric article has an essentially continuous porosity with a void volume between 10 and 90% and a unimodal diameter distribution set to a predefined unimodal peak location. It can be used in tissue engineering, for controlled release applications or as an implantable medical device.

摘要: A new-type silicon material is produced by hydrogen ion implantation and subsequent annealing, the annealing being preferably in two steps. The present invention raises surface mobility of a silicon wafer and produces a buried high-resistivity layer beneath a silicon surface layer. The resulting products are particularly useful for the improvement of yield and speed and radiation hardness of very large scale integrated circuits.
