    摘要: The present invention includes a method and system for real-time digital filtering for electrophysiological and hemodynamic amplifiers. The invention replaces the analog circuits currently used for signal filtering and conditioning in such systems with digital filters that may be implemented in a software application. The method and system includes digitizing the analog signal collected from the patient prior to performing the signal filtering and conditioning. The method and system also includes removing stimulus artifacts, as well as performing sample rate conversion and scaling on the digital signal. The processed digital signals may be used, displayed, saved and converted to analog signal thru digital-to-analog conversion.

    摘要: A bone support and/or barrier device, system, kit, and method can include an implantable structure having an outer surface, an inner surface, a first bone contact portion, and a second bone contact portion. The structure can be collapsible to an undeployed configuration capable of percutaneous insertion to the interior of a bone and expandable to a deployed configuration in the bone. In the deployed configuration, the first bone contact portion can contact a first portion of the bone, and the second bone contact portion can contact a second portion of the bone such that a load placed on the first portion of the bone can be transferred through the implantable structure to the second portion of the bone. The implantable structure can include a barrier material adapted to restrict a bone filler material inserted into the bone adjacent the inner surface of the structure from flowing to the outer surface of the structure.

    摘要: A cooling device includes a target fluid inlet, a target fluid outlet, an inner conduit, and a chamber surrounding the inner conduit. The inner conduit communicates with the target fluid inlet and the target fluid outlet, and provides a flow path for a target fluid to be cooled. The chamber contains a first endothermic reactant and includes a reactant inlet selectively alterable from a closed state to an open state. When the reactant inlet is in the closed state, the first endothermic reactant is isolated from a second endothermic reactant and no endothermic reaction occurs. When the reactant inlet is in the open state, the reactant inlet provides a flow path for enabling the second endothermic reactant to come into contact with the first endothermic reactant in the chamber for initiating the endothermic reaction and cooling the target fluid in the inner conduit.
