摘要： Contacts are formed by a metal injection molding method using metallic fine particle powder as the material therefor. The contacts have a substantially rectangular base portion and an elastic arm that extends upward from one end of an upper surface of the base portion, supported in a cantilever fashion. The portion where the arm is attached to the base or a fixed end portion, has a comparatively large rectangular cross section. The cross sectional area gradually decreases toward the distal end of the arm. An electrical contact tip is formed at the distal end of the arm.

摘要： A pitch converting connector is equipped with a ceramic circuit board, formed by a plurality of ceramic green sheets, which are stacked in the thickness direction thereof and sintered. A plurality of conductive paths are formed on a surface of each ceramic green sheet, such that they are provided at a narrow pitch at a first end of the ceramic green sheet, and widen to a wide pitch at a second end thereof. Electrodes are formed on the conductive paths, which are exposed at the first and second ends of the ceramic circuit board.

摘要： The present invention provides an electrical connector equipped with a latching member with the latching member being positioned so that the latching member does not open too far to one side thereby allowing the attachment of other parts in adjacent positions, and the operation of the latching member is also easy. Latching member (30) is mounted on connector housing (2) of electrical connect (1) so that the latching member (30) is free to pivot relative thereto. Tabs (34) on the latching member (30) are oriented at a shallow angle with respect to main body (38) of the latching member (30). Accordingly, when the latching member (30) is moved to an open or unlatched position, the main body (38) is held in a relatively upright state in a prescribed position; then, after the mating connectors (80) have been completely inserted into the connector (1), the latching member (30) is moved to a closed or latched position and is latchably engaged with the connectors (80).

Projecting strips (45, 46) which run in the direction of length are formed on the outer surfaces of the respective sections (42 and 43). The projecting strips (45 and 46) formed on the first section (42) and second section (43) are formed in mutually different angular positions.
