The toner image receiving layer satisfies the following condition: γsp0−γsp1≧2.5[mJ/m2] where γsp0 and γsp1 are values of a polar component of surface free energy of the image receiving layer before heating the image receiving sheet and after having heated the image receiving sheet to 120° C. and then cooled it to 25° C., respectively.
