摘要： A solid painting material comprises an aliphatic carboxylic acid salt having 8 to 36 carbon atoms as a gel-forming substance, 1 to 40% by weight of a coloring agent, a nonionic surfactant and 0 to 40% by weight of water. The painting material may further comprise a glycolic solvent or may substantially free of water. The painting material can prevent, to the utmost, the deterioration of the quality, while maintaining its painting and fixing properties and softness of a gel as a constituent thereof.

摘要： An exhaust system of an internal combustion engine has an exhaust gas inlet tube extending from the engine. A muffler is connected at its inlet side to the exhaust gas inlet tube. The muffler includes first and second exhaust gas flowing passages. First and second exhaust gas outlet tubes are respectively connected to the first and second exhaust gas flowing passages and extend from the muffler independently. A flow controller steplessly varies the flow passage area of the second exhaust gas outlet tube in accordance with the pressure of the exhaust gas discharged from the engine. The flow controller continuously increases the flow passage area with increase of the magnitude of the exhaust gas pressure.

摘要： An injection molding apparatus includes a vessel, mold, pusher, and thrust providing section. The vessel stores a molding material and has a nozzle hole which is formed in the bottom portion to inject the molding material and a first seal surface formed around the nozzle hole. The mold is made up of stacked members stacked on the lower side of the vessel and is filled with the molding material injected from the vessel. The mold has a sprue communicating with the nozzle hole and a second seal surface formed around the sprue. The stacked members respectively have third seal surfaces at portions where the members are in contact with each other. The pusher pressurizes the molding material in the vessel. The thrust providing section provides a thrust to the pusher to pressurize one of the pusher and the mold through the molding material in the vessel. The thrust providing section brings the first, second, and third seal surfaces into tight contact with each other by providing a downward thrust to the pusher with respect to the mold. An injection molding method is also disclosed.

摘要： A controllable exhaust system of an internal combustion engine is shown which includes an exhaust gas inlet tube extending from the engine, a muffler connected at its inlet side to the exhaust gas inlet tube and having first and second exhaust gas flowing passages defined therein, and first and second exhaust gas outlet tubes respectively connected to the first and second exhaust gas flowing passages and extending from the muffler independently. A muffler controller is incorporated with the exhaust system for varying the flow passage area of the second exhaust gas outlet tube in accordance with the pressure of the exhaust gas led into the muffler from the engine. The muffler controller comprises an actuator having a piston rod which is moved straightly and reciprocatively in accordance with the magnitude of the exhaust pressure in the muffler; and a valve assembly including a valve plate, a pivot shaft through which the valve plate is pivotally installed in the second exhaust gas outlet tube, an operation disc coaxially connected to the pivot shaft to rotate together with the pivot shaft and the valve plate, an elongate slot formed in the operation disc and extending radially with respect to the center of the operation disc, and a roller rotatably connected to the piston rod and slidably received in the elongate slot.

摘要： A flow sensor includes a substrate, an electrical insulating film, and a flow velocity detection mechanism. In the substrate, a diaphragm portion having a first surface in contact with a measurement target fluid and a thick fixing portion surrounding the diaphragm portion are integrally formed. The electrical insulating film is formed on a second surface of the diaphragm portion which is on a side opposite to the first surface. The flow velocity detection mechanism is arranged on the electrical insulating film. A method of manufacturing a flow sensor is also disclosed.
