摘要: A method for determining a safe state for a vehicle includes disposing a camera at a vehicle and disposing an electronic control unit (ECU) at the vehicle. Image data is captured via the camera and provided to the ECU. An image processor of the ECU processes captured image data. A condition is determined via processing at the image processor of the ECU captured image data. The condition comprises a shadow present in the field of view of the camera within ten frames of captured image data or a damaged condition of the imager within two minutes of operation of the camera. The condition is indicative of a condition where processing of captured image data degrades in performance. The ECU determines a safe state for the vehicle responsive to determining the condition.

摘要: A vision system for a vehicle includes a camera configured to be disposed at a vehicle so as to have a field of view exterior of the vehicle. A processor is operable to process image data captured by the camera. The vision system determines conditions where processing of captured image data degrades in performance due to environmental conditions. The vision system, responsive to a determined condition, determines a safe state for image processing of captured image data for that determined condition. A failsafe algorithm, responsive to processing of image data captured by the camera and responsive to the determined condition, and in accordance with the determined safe state for that determined condition, determines true negatives and avoids false positives and false negatives.

摘要: A vehicular trailering assist system includes at least one vehicle camera, an electronic control unit (ECU) and a display screen disposed at a vehicle. When a trailer hitched to the vehicle is not a trailer for which the vehicular trailering assist system has been previously calibrated, the driver is instructed to calibrate the system for the trailer. When the vehicular trailering assist system is calibrated, the system determines an obstacle-free path of travel for the vehicle and the trailer to follow to maneuver toward a target location. The system controls steering of the vehicle to maneuver the vehicle and the trailer along the determined obstacle-free path of travel. While the vehicle and the trailer are maneuvered along the determined obstacle-free path of travel, the determined obstacle-free path of travel is displayed on the display screen overlaying displayed video images derived from image data captured by the vehicle camera.

摘要: A vehicular vision system includes a plurality of surround view cameras disposed at a vehicle, an electronic control unit (ECU), and a video display screen disposed in the vehicle and viewable by a driver of the vehicle for displaying video images derived from image data captured by the surround view cameras. The vehicular vision system, responsive to determining an impending lane change of the equipped vehicle toward an adjacent traffic lane and responsive to processing at the ECU of image data captured by at least one of the surround view cameras of the plurality of surround view cameras, displays on the video display video images derived at least in part from image data captured by at least two of the side view cameras. The displayed video images include a portion of the adjacent traffic lane.

摘要: A vehicular trailering assist system includes a vehicle rear backup camera disposed at a rear portion of a vehicle and viewing at least rearward of the vehicle. A trailer hitched to the vehicle includes a trailer rear camera disposed at a rear portion of the trailer and viewing at least rearward of the trailer. The control displays at a display device in the vehicle a surround view image using an avatar of the vehicle and an avatar of the trailer. The control stitches images derived from image data captured by the vehicle rear backup camera and images derived from the trailer rear camera to provide a transparent trailer view, and the display device displays transparent trailer view video images. Responsive to the vehicle being shifted into a reverse gear, the display device automatically displays rear backup images derived from image data captured by the trailer rear camera.

摘要: A vehicular trailer assist system includes a plurality of vehicle cameras disposed at a vehicle, a trailer camera disposed at a rear portion of a trailer and viewing at least rearward of the trailer, and an electronic control unit (ECU) having a processor operable to process image data captured by the cameras. A display screen displays images of a region rearward of the trailer and includes a touch screen. Responsive to a touch input that is representative of a target location, the ECU, via processing of image data captured by the cameras, determines a path of travel for the vehicle and trailer to follow to maneuver the vehicle and trailer toward the target location. The ECU, responsive to an input indicative of an updated target location, updates the path of travel for the vehicle and trailer to follow to maneuver the vehicle and trailer toward the updated target location.
