摘要: In the present invention, when the wheel speeds of drive wheels are reduced by an engine brake, there are executed drive wheel control for adjusting the braking forces applied to the drive wheels by the engine brake, and driven wheel control for reducing the wheel speeds of driven wheels by an brake actuator. Drive wheel control raises lateral resistant force of the drive wheels by increasing an engine output torque, and driven wheel control brakes the driven wheels by the brake actuator such as a hydraulic brake. As a result, sufficient deceleration of a vehicle can be obtained while retaining the stability of the vehicle.

摘要: In an obtainer for obtaining speed feeling of a driver of a movable object, a gaze point setter sets a gaze point of the driver, and a motion detector detects relative motion of an environmental field around the mobile object with respect to the mobile object. A divergent component calculator projects the relative motion of the environmental field in a coordinate system. The coordinate system is formed by modeling a retina sphere of the driver of the mobile object. The divergent calculator calculates each of divergent components of the projected relative motion of the environmental field radially expanding from the gaze point. A speed feeling calculator calculates speed feeling of the driver based on the divergent components of the projected relative motion of the environmental field radially expanding from the gaze point calculated by the divergent component calculator.

摘要: A vehicle control system calculates driver-required wheel torque, correction wheel torque to stabilize vehicle motion, required output shaft torque, alternator base torque, target engine torque and alternator torque to realize the output shaft torque. The required output shaft torque is required to realize vehicle motion, and the alternator base torque is required to maintain amounts of electric power in batteries. In order to realize the torque including wide band frequency torque, a torque division unit divides the sum of the torque into each torque actuator response frequency torque. Therefore, the target alternator torque is calculated by the alternator base torque to maintain electric power in batteries and high frequency band torque required by vehicle motion control.

摘要: In a driving condition control system, a sensing unit senses a first physical quantity indicative of a rotation of the first rotatable axle assembly and a second physical quantity indicative of a rotation of the second rotatable axle assembly. A determining unit compares the first and second physical quantities of the rotations of the first and second rotational axle assemblies and determines whether a driving condition of the vehicle is unstable according to the compared result. As a result, the unstable condition of the vehicle can be rapidly detected without detecting a yaw moment of the vehicle.

摘要: In a braking pressure intensifying master cylinder, as an input shaft (53) travels forwards in a braking maneuver, a control valve (54) is actuated to develop fluid pressure according to the input in a reaction chamber (38) and a pressurized chamber (35). A stepped spool (45) as a part of the control valve 54 travels such that force produced by the fluid pressure and spring force of a spring (51) are balanced, whereby the stepped spool (45) can function as a travel simulator. By changing the pressure receiving areas of the stepped spool and/or changing the spring force of the spring (51), the travel characteristic of the input shaft (53) as the input side can be freely changed independently from the output side, without influence on a master cylinder pressure as the output side of the braking pressure intensifying a master cylinder (1). In addition, the master cylinder pressure can be intensified when necessary with a simple structure.

摘要: In a brake booster of the present invention, by depression of a brake pedal 3, an input shaft 4 travels to the left, a pedal input converter generates thrust, and a valve element 5a moves to the left. A valve passage 5a1 is shut off from a valve passage 5b1 and a valve passage 5a2 is connected to a valve passage 5b2 so as to develop output pressure Pr at an output port 5c of a control valve 5 because of the pressure of a pressure source. The output pressure Pr is supplied to a wheel cylinder 7, thereby actuating the brake. At this point, since the displacement of the input shaft 4 required for operating the control valve 5 is defined only by the converter 6, the input side is not affected by the brake rigidity of a circuit from the control valve 5 to the wheel cylinder 7. The output pressure Pr of the control valve 5 acts on the valve element 5a through a first reaction receiving portion 8 and is regulated to pressure proportional to the thrust of the converter 6. The second reaction force is transmitted to a driver through a second reaction receiving portion 9. The control of the output can be conducted during the operation regardless of the input of the input side and the respective characteristics can be varied without being affected by the output side.

摘要: Self-suction pumps are driven to take in brake fluid from a master-cylinder side before performing brake TRC control when at a low temperature and moreover when a vehicle is stopped. During driving of these self-suction pumps, pressure-increasing control valves and pressure-reducing control valves are both opened and brake fluid is accumulated in reservoirs. Because of this, an amount of pump discharge employed in brake TRC control when at a low temperature is assured, and responsiveness of brake TRC control is enhanced.
