摘要: An electroluminescence element includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and a light emission layer arranged between the first electrode and the second electrode. The first electrode is formed of a material having a higher volume resistivity than that of the material of the second electrode. A connector portion electrically connects a feeder portion to the first electrode. The resistance value of the connector portion differs in correspondence with a position at which the connector portion connects the feeder portion to the first electrode. The brightness distribution of the electroluminescence element is thus adjusted to a desired state.

摘要: In a light-emitting apparatus, a face of a substrate on which a light-emitting device is formed is an uneven surface having a plurality of asperities. The mean spacing Sm of adjacent asperities or the mean spacing S of peaks of adjacent projections of the asperities is no less than three times the longest wavelength of light generated by a light-emitting layer and no more than two hundred times the longest wavelength. The arithmetic mean slope Δa of the uneven surface is in a range between 4° and 30°, inclusive. Therefore, the apparatus emits substantially a greater amount of light from a light extraction side and has less brightness unevenness than a light-emitting apparatus with no uneven surface.

摘要: An image geometric correction device 6 unifies the coordinate systems of images captured by image capturing devices 4-1 and 4-2 into a coordinate system, and makes a geometric correction to the images projected by image projection devices 1-1, 1-2, and 1-3 on the basis of an image projection region E in the coordinate system into which the coordinate systems of the captured images are unified. As a result, the image geometric correction device can make a geometric correction to the projected images without strictly placing the image capturing devices 4-1 and 4-2 at predetermined positions.

摘要: A method of manufacturing an organic device includes the following steps. The first step is a step of forming a plurality of organic elements in the form of a matrix on a brittle substrate. Each of the organic elements is provided with an electrically connecting portion which electrically connects the organic element to an external circuit. The second step is a step of forming a sealing film on each organic element by a wet process with at least a part of the connecting portion covered with an adhesive masking material. The third step is a step of removing an adhesive deposit after peeling off the adhesive masking material. The fourth step is a step of forming a plurality of scribe lines on the brittle substrate. The fifth step is a step of breaking the brittle substrate along the scribe lines.

摘要: An environmental apparatus control system assures a consistent temperature control for realizing a comfortable residential environment based upon demands from the residents, yet in an energy-saving manner. The system includes an apparatus for controlling a residential space, and an initializer which provides an initial target value for control of the residential space at the start of operating the system. Comfortableness demands from residents are analyzed in order modify the initial target value to a working target value. The initial target value is shifted in a direction of saving the energy such that the working target value can always approach from and settle on the energy-saving side as the demands from the residents are analyzed. The working target values within a past time period are weighted to give a corrected target value which replaces the initial target value for the start of next operation cycle of the system.
