摘要: An apparatus for atomizing a large quantity of liquid such as water, liquid fuels, lotions or the like, comprises an atomizer including a body having a pressurization cavity for containing a liquid. A nozzle base, mounted on the body, has a plurality of orifices communicating with the pressurization cavity. An electric vibrator, mounted on the body, responds to an alternating voltage derived from an electric circuit. The vibrator is vibrated back and forth, to expel successively a large quantity of liquid droplets of small and uniform diameter out of the orifices.

摘要: A sheet feeding apparatus includes a sheet stacking unit, a suction conveyance unit configured to convey an uppermost sheet stacked on the sheet stacking unit, a suction unit configured to adsorb the sheets onto the suction conveyance unit, and an adsorption completion detection unit. In the sheet feeding apparatus, when the tab-attached sheets are stacked on the sheet stacking unit and fed such that their tab portions are on the downstream side in a sheet feeding direction, the suction unit starts to adsorb the sheet in response to a sheet feeding signal, and the suction conveyance unit starts to convey the sheet immediately after the adsorption completion detection unit detects the completion of the adsorption. When the sheets other than the tab-attached sheets are fed, the suction unit previously adsorbs the sheet onto the suction conveyance unit, and the suction conveyance unit starts to convey the sheet in response to the sheet feeding signal.

摘要: The grip position calculator determines a grip position where the fingers can grip a workpiece in any orientation of the workpiece. The calculator then determines an initial position where the finger tips can grip the workpiece and set the initial position as a point of calculation. Then an allowable gripping force is calculated which is an index that indicates an allowable force to be applied to the workpiece at point. Then other allowable forces are calculated for a plurality of points near the point of calculation. Then the point of calculation is selected as a possible gripping position if the allowable force a point is greater than any of the allowable forces. Otherwise, one of the points is selected for another point of calculation where the greatest allowable force (De) has been calculated and return to calculating an allowable gripping force.

摘要: A bulk acoustic resonator has an acoustic reflector portion formed on a substrate and including one or more low acoustic impedance layers and one or more high acoustic impedance layers having a higher acoustic impedance than the low acoustic impedance layer which are disposed in stacked relation and an acoustic resonator portion formed on the acoustic reflector portion and having a piezoelectric film. At least one of the low acoustic impedance layers is made of silicon.

摘要: A power supply circuit capable of reducing the power consumption during the standby state of an electric appliance. The power supply circuit for supplying the electric appliance with voltages to drive and control the electric appliance, includes a controller for controlling the operation of the electric appliance, a DC-DC converter for outputting a fixed voltage V.sub.1 and a variable voltage V.sub.2, and a regulator for converting the fixed voltage V.sub.1 derived from the DC-DC converter into a specified voltage and supplying the specified voltage to the controller 16 for the electric appliance. The DC-DC converter identifies the state of the air conditioner. When the electric appliance is identified to be in the standby state, the DC-DC converter reduces the fixed voltage V.sub.1, which is inputted to the regulator to a voltage lower than a voltage outputted in the operative state.
