    摘要: A fuel injection nozzle for internal combustion engines having a valve needle which enters an intermediate position in a retarded fashion and subsequently reaches its final position quickly. The valve needle is coupled in a positively-engaged manner with a supplementary body which as a result of its mass and/or hydraulically damps the movement of the valve needle over the course of a first stroke portion. At the end of this stroke portion, the supplementary body strikes a shoulder attached to the housing, whereupon the valve needle after the attainment of a notably higher fuel pressure, is separated from the supplementary body and translated quickly into its open position. In special cases, it is also possible for two supplementary bodies to be provided, which are uncoupled one after another from the valve needle and then again recoupled to the valve upon the closure of the valve. With an apparatus of this kind, the injection procedure can be adapted more freely than in the case of the known injection nozzles to a desired course.

The pressure differential at the two sides of the inertia mass will act on the entire cross-sectional area of the inertia mass, to provide high initial damping of the valve needle movement upon initiation of an opening stroke, while permitting a slim construction minimizing external diameter.

    摘要: A fuel injection nozzle for internal combustion engines, provided with a valve needle and an induction coil, which sits in a spacer plate mounted between the nozzle body and the nozzle holder. The valve needle projects into the induction coil and acts upon the magnetic domain of the induction coil by the action of its movement, whereby a signal dependent on the velocity of the needle is produced. The induction coil is provided with laterally disposed contact prongs which are connected with extended connecting wires by means of a weld or solder joint. The connecting wires lead through boreholes in the nozzle holder. The injection nozzle is distinguished by an especially small electrical line resistance, and by the fact that, with appropriate dimensioning and construction of the ends of the connecting wires, which carry the extended connection contacts, there will be no special contact measures necessary for disassembly.

    摘要: The injection pump has a pump piston driven with a constant stroke which pumps fuel at injection pressure to an injection nozzle so long as an electrically actuated overflow valve blocks the flow of the fuel overflowing via an overflow conduit to a low-pressure chamber. The overflow valve is a needle valve, the valve needle of which, opening inward toward a pressure chamber that can be placed under injection pressure, by means of a conical closing surface radially defining a needle tip controls a valve seat that widens conically toward the pressure chamber. The cone angle of the closing surface is larger than the cone angle of the associated valve seat and the closing surface forms a sealing edge, the diameter of which is equal to or only slightly smaller than the guide diameter of the guide shank on the valve member. In a preferred embodiment, the needle tip of the valve member has an external contour on its end, adjacent to the closing surface, which directs the fuel flow and reinforces the opening movement. The injection pump is particularly suitable for high-pressure injection in Diesel engines, in order to attain an exact electrical control of the supply onset and supply quantity, if a reservoir chamber defined by a deflecting piston is connected to a high-pressure chamber that includes the pump work chamber.

The air gap of the magnetic circuit of the induction coil is formed between the armature and a coil, toward which the armature moves during the opening stroke of the valve needle. As a result, it is possible to attain a small initial air gap and a large change, in terms of percentage, in the air gap. The apparatus according to the invention is particularly suitable for measuring circuits in which a direct voltage is applied to the induction coil and the voltages induced as a result of the air gap changes in the induction coil are superimposed on the applied direct voltage.

    摘要: A fuel injection nozzle for internal combustion engines, having an outwardly opening valve needle, which is connected with a piston upon which a damping cap is placed, which is supported on a shoulder integral with the housing. In the damping cap, a damping chamber is formed, which communicates via a throttle conduit with the flow path of the fuel. The diameter of the piston is smaller than the cross section enclosed by the valve seat, as a result of which an annular shoulder is attained, on which the unthrottled fuel pressure acts upon the valve needle in the opening direction. This disposition has the advantage that at lower rpm and smaller fuel quantities, the valve needle can be effectively braked even up to relatively long needle strokes, without the injection duration becoming overly long at higher rpm.
