摘要： Systems and/or methods for diagnosing sleep disorders in a patient are provided. In certain example embodiments, articles of bed clothing and/or bed sheets comprising sensors operable to obtain patient condition data related to sleep-disordered breathing (SDB) are provided to patients. The patient condition data is stored to a data recorder operably connected to the sensors. The sensors and the data recorder may communicate wirelessly. The bed clothing (e.g. wearable articles of clothing, bed sheets or mats, pillows, etc.) may have batteries and/or battery fibers disposed therein to power the sensors. In certain example embodiments, a bed sheet may be physically connected to a power supply and/or the data recorder. In certain example embodiments, a bed sheet and articles of bed clothing both may be provided to the patient.

摘要： A mask cushion or a mask assembly therewith provides a comfortable and effective seal for provision of a gas therapy by a respiratory treatment apparatus. The mask cushion (102) may be integrated with or coupled to a mask frame. The mask cushion typically includes an inner cushion component (104). The mask cushion also includes a patient facial-contact side portion with a chamber (108) and a barrier (106) to form the chamber that may be flexible. The chamber may serve as an outer layer with respect to the inner cushion component. The chamber may be partially or completely filled with a gas, fluid or gel. The inner cushion may be formed with a soft flexible material such as an elastomer or foam, etc. The barrier may be a membrane and may also be soft flexible material.

摘要： A cushion for use with patient therapy may include a face contacting element having at least one portion including at least a first gel and a skin portion containing the first gel. The skin portion may be silicone based. The face contacting element may be substantially triangular, and at least one of the cheek regions and the lower region of the triangular face contacting element may include a concave section that curves inwardly towards the breathing chamber. The cushion may include first and second gels having one or more properties that are different from one another.

摘要： An air delivery system for providing a supply of air from a source of air at positive pressure to an interfacing structure located at the entrance to the airways of a patient includes a manifold adapted to connect with the supply of positive air pressure and at least one tube connected to the manifold and adapted to deliver the supply of air to the interfacing structure. Each tube is structured to allow movement between an open phase in which the tube allows the passage of air and a collapsed phase in which the tube is collapsed. Each tube is structured such that weight of a typical patient's head against bedding apparel is sufficient to collapse the tube from the open phase to the collapsed phase.

摘要： A forehead support for a facial mask is adapted to be moveable between a first position with respect to a frame of the mask and a second position with respect to the frame. The forehead support includes a biasing mechanism that urges the forehead support in the second position. A method of positioning a forehead support with respect to a frame of a patient interface includes positioning the forehead support and patient interface assembly on a face; disengaging a forehead support locking mechanism; allowing the forehead support to move from a first position to a second position; and engaging a forehead support locking mechanism.
