A photosensitive resin composition, comprises (A) a polymer carrying carboxyl groups, (B) a compound carrying at least one ethylene-based unsaturated group in the molecule, and (C) a photopolymerization initiator, characterized by the fact that component (B) contains at least 60 weight % of methacrylate (B1) carrying at least one ethylene-based unsaturated group with respect to the total amount of component (B), that the amount of component (C) is in the range of 0.01-20 weight units with respect to 100 weight units of component (A) and component (B), and that component (C) contains 2-5 weight units of lophine dimer (C1) and 0.1-2.0 weight units of triphenylphosphine (C2) with respect to 100 weight units of component (A) and component (B), as well as a photosensitive element using the resin composition.

A polyether copolymer comprising the repeating units represented by the following general formula (I) ##STR1## and the repeating units represented by the following formula (II) ##STR2## the molar ratio of (I)/{(I)+(II)} being from 0.1 to 0.8 and the polyether copolymer having a melt viscosity of at least 500 poise as measured at 400.degree. C. is produced by allowing a dihalogenobenzonitrile, 1,4-bis(4'-halobenzoyl)benzene, and 4,4'-biphenol to react with each other in an aprotic polar solvent in the presence of an alkali metal compound. The polyether copolymer exhibits excellent heat-resistance, solvent resistance, and mechanical strength, and is suitable as a material for resin compositions, heat-resistant laminates, fiber, and film.

An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing at high productivity graphite powder containing no impurity, in which carbon powder material is effectively heated for graphitization; and an apparatus for producing the graphite powder. Carbon powder is placed in a carbon-made container, and the container is heated through a supply of electricity to the container. An apparatus comprising a heating chamber is provided. The container can be continuously conveyed to the apparatus, heated in the apparatus, and removed from the apparatus. Through use of the apparatus, graphite carbon powder which is suitably employed in a lithium-ion secondary battery can be produced.

Further, a fluorine-containing N,N,N',N'-tetraarylbenzidine derivative usable as a charge transport material, and a process for producing the same are disclosed. Furthermore, a fluorine-containing diarylamine usable for producing the fluorine-containing N,N,N',N'-tetraarylbenzidine derivative, and a process for producing the same are disclosed.

There are provided a polyolefin-based resin composition that is substantially prevented from suffering from oxidative deterioration of polyolefin resin and stably used even when positioned in contact with or near to vinyl chloride-based resins, as well as a combination of a vinyl-chloride-based resin molded article and a molded article made of the polyolefin-based resin composition. The polyolefin-based resin composition used in contact with or near to vinyl chloride-based resins, comprises (A) 100 parts by mass of a polyolefin-based resin; and (B) 0.01 to 5 parts by mass of a phenol-based antioxidant containing no aliphatic ester group and/or a sulfur-based antioxidant containing no aliphatic ester group, and may further contain, if required, 0.01 to 3 parts by mass of a metal deactivator containing no aliphatic ester, and 50 to 250 parts by mass of a metal hydrate and/or a metal hydroxide. In the combination of the vinyl-chloride-based resin molded article and the polyolefin-based molded article, both the molded articles are positioned in contact with or near to each other, and the polyolefin-based molded article is made of the above polyolefin-based resin composition.

The pipe of the present invention comprises an ethylene base polymer comprising ethylene and an &agr;-olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms, wherein (A) a maximum value of the residual stress is 0.13 MPa or less; (B) the crystallinity is 0.630 to 0.850; (C) a gradient of the crystallinity against a thickness of the pipe is 0.465 or less; and (D) the pipe has a thickness of 5 to 50 mm. It is excellent in a durability, a rigidity and an impact resistance and suited to uses for large diameter pipes receiving a high internal pressure.
