    摘要： A process for producing triarylphosphites of the formula (RO).sub.3 P, in which R represents aryl or aryl substituted by one or more straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl or aralkyl groups, by reaction of phosphorus trihalides with hydroxy-substituted aromatic compounds of the formula ROH in the presence of 0.005 to 10 mol %, relative to the hydroxy-substituted aromatic compound, of a catalyst, optionally in the presence of a solvent, in which process the catalyst used is a compound from the group comprising amines or ammonium salts, amides of carboxylic acid and thiocarboxylic acids and also of oxygen acids of phosphorus, non-aromatic nitrogen-containing heterocycles and salts thereof, guanidines, amidines and azomethines and also salts thereof, sulfones, sulfoxides and sulfonium salts, primary, secondary and tertiary phosphines and salts thereof, phosphine oxides, phosphine sulfides or esters of phosphoric acids.

    摘要： A spray booth has an intermediate grating type floor (20) through which air is circulated. The air passes through a cleaning liquid nozzle (A) and entrains and atomises cleaning liquid derived from an overflow trough (30) with weirs (46,48). A spent air channel (24) is enclosed by a cover (28) located at least 20 cm from a flow off edge (28a) of the cover. The cover may itself form part of the washing-liquid feed device. A guide channel leads from weir (40) to the upper edge of a slot (34) forming the orifice of liquid nozzle (A). The cover (28) shields the working area of the booth from the noise generated by the nozzle (A).

    摘要： A washing device comprises an upper chamber containing a washing liquid and communicating with an enamel-spraying device and a lower under-pressure chamber. A nozzle is installed between those two chambers which has an inlet to receive the washing liquid and a gaseous mixture to be washed and an outlet communicating with the under-pressure chamber. The particle-containing gaseous mixture is drawn through the washing liquid atomized in the nozzle and is washed thereby. The nozzle has a cross-section of a bell-like configuration and is provided with edges at the outlet of the nozzle. These edges face toward the central axis of the casing and are provided with teeth whereby the surface of contact of the particles with the atomized washing liquid at the outlet of the nozzle is substantially increased and the distribution of the washing liquid at the outlet of the nozzle is improved.
