Abstract: A column accommodation device (1) includes a housing in which a column accommodation space (4) is provided, and a chip column (6) having a plate-shape and having an internal flow path (40) filled with a separation medium (41) is accommodated in the column accommodation space (4). An outer surface of the chip column (6) is provided with openings (42) respectively communicating with both ends of the internal flow path. Inside of the column accommodation space (4) is provided with a guide (18) for guiding the chip column (6) to a predetermined position. The column accommodation device (1) includes a seal device (32) for connecting and releasing pipes (44) to and from the openings (42) of the chip column (6), and a controller (46) configured to perform operation control of the seal device (32), and the controller (46) is configured to fluidly connect the pipes (44) with respect to the openings (42) of the chip column (6) when it is determined that the chip column (6) is arranged at the predetermined position.

Abstract: An autosampler includes an injection port for supplying a sample to an analysis device, a needle that collects the sample stored in a vial and injects the sample into the injection port, a cleaning unit that cleans the needle and a gas exhaust fan. The cleaning unit includes a cleaning container which stores a cleaning liquid and into which the needle is inserted, and a unit main body that has a space for storing the cleaning container and receiving the cleaning liquid overflowing from the cleaning container, and a unit gas exhaust passage for exhausting gas in the space outwardly of the cleaning unit. The unit main body has a unit opening through which the needle passes when accessing the cleaning container. The autosampler includes a boundary portion that separates a first region in which the injection port, the needle and the unit opening are arranged from a second region in which the gas exhaust fan is arranged, and a gas exhaust region which is connected to the unit gas exhaust passage via a gas exhaust opening provided at the boundary portion and into which gas exhausted from the space flows due to a negative pressure generated by the gas exhaust fan.

Abstract: A first mixer mixes solvents therein. A second mixer has a capacity different from that of the first mixer, and mixes solvents therein. A first separation column is associated with the first mixer. A second separation column is associated with the second mixer. A first valve enables switchover between a first communication state in which the first mixer and the first separation column communicate with a detector, and a second communication state in which the second mixer and the second separation column communicate with the detector. Only by switching the first valve, it is possible to switch between the first communication state and the second communication state. The internal capacity of a flow channel in the first communication state differs from that in the second communication state. Therefore, it is easy to perform analysis with different internal capacities.

Abstract: There are provided a sample cooling device capable of preventing air containing moisture from flowing into an accommodating chamber from outside the accommodating chamber, and of desirably dehumidifying air inside the accommodating chamber, and an autosampler provided with the same. Air is sent into an accommodating chamber 11 by a blower section 100 from outside the accommodating chamber 11 and the air is cooled by a dehumidifier section 13 to thereby cause dehumidified air to be supplied into the accommodating chamber 11. With the air sent into the accommodating chamber 11 by the blower section 100 from outside the accommodating chamber 11, the inside of the accommodating chamber 11 may be placed in a pressurized state. Since dehumidified air is supplied into the accommodating chamber 11 by air sent into the accommodating chamber 11 by the blower section 100 from outside the accommodating chamber 11 being cooled by the dehumidifier section 13, the humidity inside the accommodating chamber 11 may be prevented from rising due to the air that is sent from the blower section 100.

The driver is provided to execute sample scraping work and sample sucking work using a pipette tip attached to the sucker. In a case in which selection of work contents of the driver is received by the work content receiver, a work procedure including the received work contents of the driver is registered by the registrar. The work of the driver is controlled by the device controller in accordance with the registered work procedure.

Abstract: An autosampler is switched selectively between an injecting mode where a sampling flow path is incorporated into an analysis flow path of a liquid chromatograph and a loading mode where the sampling flow path is not incorporated into the analysis flow path and injects a sample into the analysis flow path at a position farther upstream than a separation column by being switched to the injecting mode with the sample held in the sampling flow path, and includes a clog determiner configured to acquire a sending liquid pressure of a liquid sending pump that sends a mobile phase in the analysis flow path, obtain a variation value of the liquid sending pressure when the injecting mode and the loading mode are switched and determine presence or absence of a clog in a system incorporated into the analysis flow path in the injecting mode based on the obtained variation value.
