    摘要: Electric shaver of battery powered and washable type having a watertight housing structure. A battery covering detachably mounted to housing bottom opening for holding batteries inside the housing includes a lock and seal which are activated, responsive to the covering's mounting operation, respectively in directions transversing the housing axis to lock the covering to the housing interior wall and in the housing axial directions to achieve uniform abuttment of the covering to the interior wall for clamping therebetween a watertight ring seal. At the housing head where shaving blade assembly is coupled to rotary shaft of electric motor, the shaft is projected out of an axial cylinder of motor mounting member through a double-lip shape bushing watertightly sealing around the shaft with both axial end and outer peripheral projections compressively deformed by inward flange and inner periphery of the axial cylinder and motor shaft bearing so as to maintain a proper sealing pressure about the shaft, while allowing water passed through cut-hair reservoir between the motor and the blade assembly with side wall apertures of the reservoir closable by a shutter ring slidably fitted therearound, and in a housing side wall a reed-switch inside the housing is controlled over the side wall by a magnet carried by a handle slidably fitted outside the wall.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a compound represented by the formula: (I) wherein ring A is a 5- or 6-membered aromatic heterocycle optionally having substituent (s); U, V and W are each independently C or N, provided that when any one of U, V and W is N, then the others should be C; Ra and Rb are each independently a cyclic group optionally having substituent(s), a C1-10alkyl group optionally having substituent(s), a C2-10 alkenyl group optionally having substituent(s), or a C2-10alkynyl group optionally having substituent(s); X is a bond, or a spacer having 1 to 6 atoms in the main chain; Y is a spacer having 1 to 6 atoms in the main chain; Rc is a hydrocarbon group optionally containing heteroatom(s) as the constituting atom(s), which optionally has substituent(s); m and n are each independently 1 or 2; and ring B optionally further has substituent(s), or a salt thereof. The compound of the present invention has excellent renin inhibitory activity, and thus is useful as an agent for the prophylaxis or treatment of hypertension, various organ damages attributable to hypertension, and the like.

    摘要: A battery pack containing a rechargeable battery is detachable to a charger unit for charging under the control of a charging circuit in the charger unit. The battery pack includes a sensor output circuit which comprises a temperature sensor for sensing the temperature of the battery being charged. A voltage dividing resistor network is formed in the sensor output circuit and receives a constant current from the charging circuit upon attachment of the battery pack to the charger unit such that it provides an enable signal of a first voltage level to the charging circuit for allowing the charging of the battery at a first charge rate so long as the sensed battery temperature is below a predetermined reference level. When the sensed battery temperature exceeds the reference level, the voltage dividing resistor network responds to provide a stop signal of a second voltage level for inhibiting the charging at the first charge rate. Also included in the sensor output circuit is a hold circuit which holds to provide the stop signal to the charging circuit once the sensed temperature exceeds the reference level.
