A load driving circuit is provided to provide a driving current in response to the load driving necessariness command, thereby driving the load. A signal indicative of the fluid pressure correction value is output to actuate a solenoid for effecting adjustment of fluid pressure in the automatic transmission for adjusting the line pressure in accordance with the determined frictional coefficient of the frictionally engageable elements to maintain sufficient engagement capacity of the frictionally engageable elements.
