Provided are an apparatus and method using large-area organic vapor phase deposition for formation of organic thin films and organic devices. The apparatus includes a deposition part and a source part. The deposition part includes a process chamber; a substrate holder installed in the process chamber for supporting a loaded substrate; a substrate temperature controller installed in the substrate holder for controlling the temperature of the substrate; and a shower head installed opposite the substrate holder in the process chamber for uniformly distributing onto the substrate organic source vapors to be used for a deposition reaction. The source part includes a source chamber for generating organic source vapors to be supplied to the shower head; a source heater which surrounds the source chamber and allows organic materials to evaporate to be organic source vapors in the source chamber; and a transfer gas supply source for supplying transfer gas that is used to transfer the organic source vapors to the process chamber.

Accordingly, a problem of agglomeration of the charged particles can be solved by the insulating template having holes of smaller size than the wavelength of visible rays region, and thus a reliable electrophoretic display emitting light of one color or natural colors is achieved.

The composite solid surface article produced using the method and apparatus contain particles with a size greater than 5 mm.

The image sensor includes: a photosensitive pixel having a transfer transistor formed in a structure which causes hole accumulation in a part or all regions of a gate oxide; and a sensing control part applying a negative offset potential to the gate during a part or whole of a turn-off period of the transfer transistor. When the transfer transistor is off, the image sensor may form a sufficient barrier and accumulate electrons in the photodiode, and when the transistor is on, the sensor sufficiently lowers a barrier, fully depletes the photodiode before the transfer transistor reaches a threshold voltage, and inactivates a trap in a predetermined region for a certain time, and thus the dark current can be reduced.

Also, a method of preparing the quantum dot phosphor is provided. Since the quantum dot phosphor of the current invention is composed of the quantum dots supported on the solid substrate, the quantum dots do not aggregate when dispensing a paste obtained by mixing the quantum dots with a paste resin for use in packaging of a light emitting diode.
