    摘要: A grip 6b is projectingly provided on one side of an upper end of a control lever 4.sub.1, 4.sub.2 of a controller for a boat propelling device, and a switch accommodating portion 7b is projectingly provided on the other side. Control switches 14 and 15 are mounted in the switch accommodating portion 7b. The switch accommodating portion 7b is formed, on its front surface on the side of an operator, with an operating face 23 which is inclined, so that it comes closer to a center plane 21 extending laterally of the control lever 4.sub.1, 4.sub.2 at a laterally outer location. The control switches 14 and 15 have operating buttons 14a and 15a mounted to face the operating face 23. Thus, when the operator grasps the grip portion of the control lever, the thumb of his or her hand is naturally opposed to the operating buttons of the control switches and hence, the operator can extremely easily operate the operating buttons.

    摘要: In a steering device for an outboard engine, a drive shaft of a helm mechanism and an output shaft of an electric assist mechanism are disposed orthogonally to a steering output shaft of a steering operation member. Where the steering operation member is a tiller handle, a torque sensor, provided between an outboard engine body and the tiller handle, detects, as steering torque, a difference between steering angles of the engine body and the tiller handle, and the helm mechanism, drivable by the assist mechanism, operates to compensate for the difference between the steering angles. The assist mechanism and the helm mechanism are provided on the body of the boat.

Preparing a plurality of second sheets having a predetermined length by press-punching from a thicker second magnetic steel sheet material. Next, chamfered portions are formed on edge portions of second recess portions by chamfering the second sheet. Then, the second sheets are bent into an annular shape and the second sheets bent into the annular shape are stacked on both axial ends of the laminated body and integrated by laser welding.

    摘要: A remote operation system for an outboard motor includes a remote control box installed at a cockpit of the boat and a lever attached to a support shaft that is rotatably accommodated in the remote control box for being manipulated by an operator, a plurality of sensors, such as a potentiometer and a rotary encoder provided to generate outputs indicative of an angle of rotation of the support shaft through the lever manipulation, respectively, and a control unit which controls operation of a throttle actuator and a shift actuator based on at least one of the outputs of the sensors, thereby improving reliability and enabling continued regulation of throttle opening and change of shift position even if a failure occurs in one of sensors.

    摘要: An iron core of a rotating-electric machine and a manufacturing method for the same permit a uniform curvature to be easily obtained over an entire circumference of the iron core. The iron core has laminated magnetic plate strips, a cylindrical core proximal portion, a plurality of teeth projecting in a substantially radial direction from the core proximal portion, and slots for accommodating a winding that are located between the teeth adjacent to each other. The iron core is fabricated by curving both end portions of a substantially hexahedral laminate so that the core proximal portion obtains a predetermined curvature, forming the entire laminate into a cylindrical shape by wrapping it around a cylindrical core member so that distal ends of the teeth project from the core proximal portion, and joining both end portions of the laminate.

    摘要: According to an embodiment, a liquid ejection device that performs preprocessing to apply a processing liquid from an applying unit to a recording medium before ejecting a liquid droplet onto the recording medium to form an image, the liquid ejection device includes an acquiring unit and a correcting unit. The acquiring unit acquires a capture image that is of an image formed on the recording medium and that is captured by a capturing unit. The correcting unit corrects a state of the processing liquid applied by the applying unit based on a state of the liquid droplet indicated by the capture image.
