    摘要: An optical pick-up apparatus includes: a semiconductor laser light source that generates an optical beam; a diffraction grating that divides the optical beam into a main beam and side beams; an optical element that guides the main beam and the side beams that are generated by the diffraction grating onto an optical information medium; and a photodetector that detects a signal from reflected light reflected from the optical information medium. The semiconductor laser light source is configured with a 2-wavelength semiconductor laser device in which a semiconductor laser chip that generates an optical beam having a wavelength of λ1 and a semiconductor laser chip that generates an optical beam having a wavelength of λ2 are integrated into one chip or are arranged in proximity to each other. The diffraction grating has one grating period Λ by which each of the optical beams having the wavelength λ1 and the optical beam having the wavelength λ2, which are generated by the 2-wavelength semiconductor laser device, is divided into a main beam and side beams. The apparatus is applicable to two kinds of optical information media having different track pitches.

The projection lens is arranged on an optical axis extending in a longitudinal direction of a vehicle. The light source is arranged on a rear side of a rear side focal point of the projection lens. The reflector reflects forward light from the light source toward the optical axis. An upper end edge of the shade passes through a vicinity of the rear side focal point. The shade shields part of a reflected light from the reflector. The convex lens is arranged between the light source and the shade, and converges light from the light source into the vicinity of the upper end edge of the shade.

    摘要: A lighting control apparatus of a vehicle-purpose lighting device can contribute power saving effect, and prevention of a deterioration of a semiconductor light source, and also, can maintain driving safety characteristics. When an input terminal becomes a low level while a vehicle is stopped, a PNP transistor is turned ON, so that a source current I1 flows through a current detecting terminal; a switching regulator lights an LED under beam attenuating operation of 70% in accordance with a light emitting degree capable of satisfying a luminous intensity distribution defined in a law; when an upper beam is lighted, the input terminal becomes a low level; a PNP transistor is turned ON; a source current I2 flows through the current detecting terminal, so that the light emitting degree of the LED is further decreased, and thus, the switching regulator lights the LED under beam attenuating operation of 50%.

    摘要: A vehicle lamp includes a plurality of semiconductor light emitting devices, and a reflector for reflecting light emitted from the semiconductor light emitting devices toward a front side of the vehicle lamp. The reflector is partitioned into a plurality of light emitting areas that are radially formed around an optical axis extending in a front-rear direction of a vehicle. Each of the semiconductor light emitting devices is disposed on an outer peripheral portion of one of the light emitting areas respectively. Each of the reflecting surfaces of the reflector is provided in one of the light emitting areas respectively.

    摘要: Lamp piece units in a parabolic pillar type capable of forming a luminous intensity distribution pattern prolonged sideways are formed as side irradiating lamp piece units. Thereby, a portion of diffused and reflected light from reflectors of the respective side irradiating lamp piece units is prevented from being blocked by other lamp piece constituting members, even when a surface shape of a vehicular headlamp is flexed to the rear side. Further, although the respective side irradiating lamp piece units are constituted by the lamp piece units of the parabolic pillar type having an angular outer shape as a whole, a large depth space for arranging the units is dispensed with.
