A low scalping laminate material for a container for food packaging includes a core layer of paper or paperboard, a polymeric coating applied to one side of the core layer and a combination of layers disposed on an opposing side of the core layer. The combination of layers includes a first barrier layer disposed adjacent the core layer, a first tie layer adjacent the first barrier layer, a second barrier layer adjacent the first tie layer, a second tie layer adjacent the second barrier layer and a second polymeric coating adjacent the second tie layer. The second polymeric coating is configured for a food contacting surface. The first and second barrier layers are formed from an admixture of an aromatic polyamide resin and polyamide 6, and the first and second tie layers are formed from one of a modified polyethylene and a polyolefin. A carton formed from the low scalping laminate is disclosed.

The packaging laminate has improved sealability properties and provides improved or maintained package integrity and openability to a packaging container manufactured from the laminate, for the purpose of aseptic, long-term storage of for example fruit juice, having an opening arrangement, which at opening removes the membrane of laminated layers of aluminum foil and thermoplastics from the region of the hole in the core layer. Preferably, the material providing barrier properties towards migration of free fatty acids is a cyclo-olefin copolymer and/or a filler.

A catering cart whose height is substantially greater than its width and its length, and particularly a catering cart for use in confined spaces, such as in the aisles of passenger aircraft and railway diners. The cart is supported on four wheels, at least two of which are castor wheels, and has an access opening on one side thereof. Two such carts can be mutually coupled with the sides opposite the access openings facing towards one another, with the aid of mutually identical coupling devices on each respective cart. Each of the coupling devices can be operated from that side of the cart which presents the access opening. The opposite side of the cart includes an overhang such that prior to coupling the carts together a gap is provided in the bottom region of the back-to-back cart combination in the vicinity of the coupling devices, this gap being brought to zero when the carts are coupled together, such that the carts will be supported in a sloping position solely by the outer pairs of wheels.
