According to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a solar cell module, including: a solar cell having electrode patterns formed on at least one surface thereof; and a parylene coating layer(s) forming a light transmissive passivation layer on at least a front surface of the solar cell. According to another exemplary embodiment of the present invention, there is provided a method for manufacturing a solar cell module, including: (a) preparing a solar cell having electrode patterns formed on at least one surface thereof; and (b) forming a light transmissive passivation layer by coating parylene on at least a front surface of the solar cell.
