摘要:
A process for passivation of strip steel plate, having the following steps: electrochemical treatment of the black plate by passing the black plate through an electrolyte to form an inert steel surface; rinsing the black plate; and application of an aqueous chromium-free treatment solution to at least one surface of the black plate to form a conversion layer that protects against corrosion and an adhesion layer for paints and organic coating materials. The black plate treated in accordance with this process is characterized by high corrosion resistance and has good bonding capacity for paints and organic coatings and therefore is very suitable as a substitute for tin-free steel (TFS or ECCS) and tinplate for the production of packagings, in particular cans. In contrast to the traditional manufacturing and passivation processes for tin-free steel and tinplate, no chromium VI, which is environmentally hazardous and hazardous to health, is used in this process.

A method for coating a steel sheet with a metal layer includes the following steps: application of a first thin metal layer as a flash coating; melting the metal layer from the flash coating; and application of at least one additional metal layer onto the metal layer from the flash coating. To increase the corrosion resistance of the coated steel sheet and to improve the energy and resource efficiency of the coating method, with which a steel sheet having a high corrosion resistance and good weldability and with a good deep drawing and ironing behavior is to be produced, the thickness of the metal layer from the flash coating is at most 200 mg/m2 and the metal layer from the flash coating is melted with electromagnetic radiation of high energy density.

摘要:
A method of thermally treating black plate which is coated with a conversion coating. The conversion-coated black plate is heated during a thermal treatment time from 0.1 seconds to 30 seconds to a temperature in the range of 240° C. to 320° C. The heat treatment makes it possible to improve the adhesion of the conversion coating to the black plate surface. In one application of the method, the heat treatment is carried out in a process for the production of corrosion-resistant black plate, in which prior to, during or after the heat treatment, an organic coating in the form of paint or a polymer coating is applied to the conversion coating of the black plate.

A method for producing a nitrided packaging steel from a hot-rolled steel product with a carbon content of 400 to 1200 ppm, utilizing a cold-rolling of the steel product to a flat steel product, subsequent recrystallization annealing of the cold-rolled flat steel product in an annealing furnace, in particular a continuous annealing furnace. A nitrogen-containing gas is supplied into the annealing furnace and is directed at the flat steel product to introduce unbonded nitrogen into the flat steel product in an amount corresponding to a concentration of more than 100 ppm, or to increase the amount of unbonded nitrogen in the flat steel product to a concentration of more than 100 ppm, and subsequent cooling of the recrystallized annealed flat steel product at a cooling rate of at least 100 K/s directly after the recrystallization annealing. Using this method, cold-rolled flat steel products may be produced for packaging purposes with a tensile strength of more than 650 MPa and in particular between 700 and 850 MPa.

A method for the coating of a chromium-free surface of a tin-plated steel sheet with a polymer coating, with the chromium-free tin surface of the tin-plated steel sheet first electrochemically oxidized in a first step and a polymer coating applied on the oxidized tin surface in a second step, and an apparatus for the carrying out of the method. A tinplate coated with a polymer coating made of polyethylene terephathalate (PET) and passivated chromium-free, wherein only one thin tin oxide layer and perhaps an adhesion promoter layer are present between the tin surface of the tinplate and the polymer coating, and the use of such a tinplate for the production of packagings.

A method for producing a corrosion-resistant steel sheet made of an unalloyed or low-alloy and cold-rolled steel having a carbon content of less than 0.1 wt %. The method includes the following steps: applying a metal coating to the steel sheet; annealing the coated steel sheet in a recrystallizing manner by heating the coated steel sheet to temperatures in the recrystallization range by electromagnetic induction in an inert-gas atmosphere; and quenching the coated and annealed steel sheet. The metal coating is fused on during the recrystallization annealing.

The invention concerns a method for the production of an aluminized packaging steel from a cold-rolled steel sheet made of an unalloyed or low-alloy steel with the following steps: a. heating of the steel sheet by electromagnetic induction at temperatures in the recrystallization range of the steel at a heating rate of more than 75 K/s, so as to anneal the steel sheet in a recrystallizing manner; b. dipping of the steel sheet annealed in a recrystallizing manner into a molten aluminum bath, so as to apply an aluminum layer on the steel sheet, wherein the steel sheet, upon being dipped into the aluminum bath, has a temperature of at least 700° C.; and c. pulling the steel sheet out of the aluminum bath and cooling the aluminized steel sheet at a cooling rate of at least 100 K/s. The aluminized steel sheets are characterized by a high degree of strength and elongation at break and exhibit excellent formation characteristics, for example, in drawing and wall ironing processes, for the production of two-part food and beverage cans or lids and can be used as substitute material for tin sheets.
