The processor is configured to cause a display unit provided in a vehicle cabin to display an inducement image requesting that an occupant grip a steering wheel in a case in which it is necessary for the occupant to grip the steering wheel, and cause the display unit to display the inducement image more prominently in a case of requesting that the occupant grip the steering wheel before the vehicle switches from an autonomous driving mode to a manual driving mode as the vehicle is continuing to drive autonomously, than in a case of requesting that the occupant continue to grip the steering wheel as the vehicle is continuing to drive autonomously.

摘要： A display control ECU includes an information acquisition section and a display control section. The information acquisition section acquires information relating to a peripheral target object that is present ahead of the vehicle and in a subject vehicle lane in which the vehicle is currently traveling, and information relating to an object requiring caution that is present outside of the subject vehicle lane and having implications for control during the autonomous driving. The display control section displays an image of the peripheral target object, regarding which information has been acquired by the information acquisition section on a heads-up display provided inside a cabin of the vehicle, and additionally displays on the heads-up display an image of the object requiring caution in a case in which information relating to the object requiring caution has been acquired by the information acquisition section.

The processor being configured to: receive proposal information relating to a proposal that requests an instruction from a vehicle occupant of a vehicle; receive an operation signal that is outputted in accordance with an operation of the vehicle occupant; and in a case of receiving the proposal information, change display of a display device provided within the vehicle from a usual image to an image that includes a proposal image relating to the proposal, and, during a predetermined time period from start of display of the proposal image, prohibit reflection of the operation signal in the instruction.
