摘要: Various sensors, such as a GPS and a vehicle speed sensor, are used to detect a current position and direction of a vehicle. A normal running direction, which is a running direction specified for a road on which the vehicle runs, is acquired. In a state where a vehicle speed pulse is acquired at the predetermined intervals, it is detected whether the vehicle is placed in a wrong-way driving situation on the basis of the detected current direction of the vehicle and the normal running direction; whereas, in a state where a vehicle speed pulse is not acquired, it is not detected whether the vehicle is placed in the wrong-way driving situation on the basis of the detected current direction of the vehicle.

摘要: A road information acquisition device includes: a surface elevation acquisition unit that obtains a surface elevation; a road information acquisition unit that calculates first road information relating to a travel route to be traveled by a host vehicle on the basis of the surface elevation; and a structure determination unit that determines whether or not a structure exists on the travel route, wherein, when the structure determination unit determines that the structure exists on the travel route, the road information acquisition unit obtains second road information, which is different from the first road information, relating to a point at which the structure exists on the travel route.

摘要: Fold-down vehicle seat having a foldable seat cushion and a seat back foldable on to the seat cushion. In this seat, a link element is movably connected between the forward end portion of the seat cushion and a vehicle floor so as to be movable upwardly and downwardly. Also, a slide element is operatively provided between the backward end portion of the seat cushion and the vehicle floor, thereby allowing the seat cushion to be slidingly movable forwardly and backwardly of the seat. Thus, the seat cushion is foldable down to a folded-down storage position in the vehicle floor, with the seat back being foldable onto the seat cushion. A lock mechanism is provided between the slide element and seat cushion, so that the seat can be locked to the folded-down storage position and also adjustably locked to a desired seating height, in conjunction with the link and slide elements.
