摘要: A fuel injection control apparatus for controlling the amount and the timing of fuel injection with the aid of a microcomputer includes a hot-wire type flow sensor for detecting an instantaneous intake air flow velocity within an intake air passage of an internal combustion engine. The output signal of the hot-wire type flow sensor is sampled at every predetermined crank angle or at every predetermined time point to be stored in a RAM. The time at which the instantaneous velocity of the intake air flow within the intake passage becomes maximum is detected. The fuel injection timing of a fuel injection valve disposed in the intake passage is so controlled that the fuel injection is terminated around the time point at which the instantaneous intake air flow velocity is maximum.

摘要: A method of controlling, electronically, the operation of an internal combustion engine on the basis of results of arithmetic operations of digital control quantities derived from detected operating conditions of the engine through digital processing operations. The digital processing operations are divided into a number of tasks in dependence on the control functions to be performed. The method comprises a step of setting an activation request indication for a task through the execution of another task, a step of setting an activation request indication for a task through execution of the task itself, a step of searching the activation request indications for the individual tasks, and a step of executing the tasks to which the activation requests are issued on the basis of the effects of the tasks.

摘要: A hot-wire flow rate measuring apparatus comprises a series circuit including a first thermo-sensitive resistive element placed in the fluid path of a fluid and a first resistive element, a circuit for dividing the voltage across the first thermo-sensitive resistive element, a second thermo-sensitive resistor for temperature compensation placed in the fluid path of fluid, means for detecting the difference between the output voltage of the voltage dividing circuit and the output voltage of the second thermo-sensitive resistor for temperature compensation. Current fed to the series circuit is controlled in accordance with the detected voltage from the detecting means, and output means is provided for producing a voltage in accordance with the voltage across the resistive element, wherein the output voltage of the output means indicates a flow rate of fluid.

摘要: An electric ignition control system for an internal combustion engine has a first pulse generator for producing pulses at each 180.degree. interval of crank shaft revolution, a second pulse generator for delivering a predetermined number of pulses, such as 1800 counts, during each 180.degree. interval, and a read only memory for producing a digital signal representing ignition timing in response to both engine speed and throttle opening. When the first counter circuit has counted the number of the second pulse generator pulses equal to the digital value of the digital signal from the memory, the primary current of an ignition coil applied from a battery to the primary coil thereof is interrupted for producing a high voltage to establish an ignition spark across the gap of a spark plug.

摘要: A method of controlling an internal combustion engine employs a microcomputer to control the fuel supply to the engine as well as the ignition timing thereof on the basis of measurement of the air quantity fed to the engine. For measuring the air quantity charged to the engine with high accuracy, the intake air flow fed to the engine is sampled in synchronism with the pulsating variation thereof. A value obtained by averaging the sampled values is used as the intake air quantity on the basis of which the fuel supply and the ignition timing are arithmetically determined.

摘要: A sensor for detecting the internal pressure is provided in the cylinder to detect the combustion condition in the engine cylinder. In order to process the output of the sensor in accordance with the volume of the combustion chamber, the amount of change of combustion volume between timings of fetching the sensor outputs is multiplied by the sensor output, or the sensor output is fetched in accordance with the amount of change of combustion volume. In this way, the amount of work is detected from the sensor output. The ignition timing is subjected to feedback control in such a manner as to attain the maximum effective amount of work.

摘要: An apparatus for driving a hot-wire air-flow sensor of constant temperature difference type includes a hot wire and a temperature sensitive compensating element such as a resistor for compensating temperature of air. The hot wire and the resistor are formed of identical elements. A pulse train signal having a pulse width varying in correspondence to difference between voltage drops produced, respectively, across the hot wire and the compensating resistor supplied with a constant current is produced for interrupting the current supplied to the hot wire.

摘要: A method of controlling fuel supplied to an engine comprises the steps of computing the quantity of air taken into the engine on the basis of the output from an air flow rate sensor, integrating the quantity of intake air computed in the first step, determining the level for setting the period of generation of a fuel-quantity control pulse signal from a pulse generating circuit on the basis of the output from an exhaust gas sensor, and generating pulses of predetermined pulse width from the pulse generating circuit when a predetermined relation is attained between the level determined in the third step and the result of integration in the second step.
