    摘要: The invention relates to an air flow rate measuring device making use of a hot wire type air flow meter and adapted to measure the true intake air flow rate while compensating for the error attributable to the reversing of the air. The device includes an operation unit adapted to accumulate the output from the hot wire type air flow meter to calculate an apparent intake air flow rate Q.sub.a =Q.sub.1 +Q.sub.2, where Q.sub.1 is the flow rate during reversing of the air while Q.sub.2 represents the flow rate during forward flowing of the air. The apparent flow rate Q.sub.a is discriminated by a signal derived from means for detecting the period in which the reversing of intake air takes place into the flow rate Q.sub.1 in the reversing or backward direction and the flow rate Q.sub.1 in the forward direction, by means of the operation unit. Another operation unit performs the calculation of difference Q.sub.2 -Q.sub.1 to determine the true air flow rate Q.sub.o.

    摘要: An air flow metering apparatus for measuring a suction air flow fed to an internal combustion engine comprises at least two Karman' vortex type air flow meters disposed separately in at least two air suction passages, respectively. The output signals from the flow meters are switched in such manner that in a predetermined range of high air flow rates, the output signal from one of the flow meter is utilized for measuring or sensing the air flow rate, while in a predetermined low flow rate range, the output signal from the other flow meter is utilized for the same purpose. Alternatively, in a predetermined low flow rate range, only one of the air suction passages is employed, while both of the air suction passages are employed in a predetermined range of high air flow rates. The air flow metering apparatus assures the detection or measurement of the suction air flow rate over a whole operation range of the engine with a high reliability and enhanced accuracy.

    摘要: An air-fuel ratio control apparatus for use in a motor vehicle having an internal combustion engine provided with a carburetor including a main fuel supply system and a low speed fuel supply system for supplying fuel to the engine. The apparatus includes an electromagnetic valve for controlling the volume of air flowing through the air bleed of the main fuel supply system, an electromagnetic valve for controlling the volume of air flowing through the air bleed of the low speed fuel supply system, an O.sub.2 sensor for detecting the concentration of O.sub.2 in exhaust emissions, and a control circuit for producing as an output a control signal in accordance with a signal from the O.sub.2 sensor. The two electromagnetic valves are controlled by the same signal from the control circuit. A plurality of microswitches for detecting the starting of the engine, high speed operation of the engine and power operation of the engine respectively are provides so as to disconnect the control circuit from the electromagnetic valves.

    摘要: A vehicle control apparatus and method therefor has a number of controllers (50, 63, 56) interconnected with one another by a data highway (10), the engine controllers being formed for example by a CPU. The engine controllers are each connected to a sensor for sensing a vehicle parameter and the controllers are also connected to a respective actuator (53, 58) for varying the associated vehicle parameter. The apparatus is arranged so that the controllers operate in cooperation with one another so that two or more controllers cooperate to control the same object or purpose. As an example (shown in FIG. 20) an engine controller (50) provides torque data to a transmission controller (63) which in turn provides data to a throttle controller (56), whereby a gear shift is effected by the transmission controller (63) in synchronism with the throttle controller (56) changing the position of a throttle actuator so that a jerk-free gear shift is effected. In another embodiment (shown in FIG. 33) an engine controller (50) cooperates with a throttle controller (56) and a suspension controller (64) whereby data from the engine controller determining whether the vehicle is accelerating or braking is transmitted to the throttle controller (56) and the suspension controller (64) and the throttle position is adjusted in synchronism with the suspension controller (64) for adjusting the front-back ride height of the vehicle. Thus, for example, when the vehicle is braking, the throttle controller closes the throttle and the suspension controller increases the ride height of the front dampers and reduces the ride height of the rear dampers. Other embodiments control ignition timing and fuel injection in cooperation with gear shift (FIG. 37), control fuel injection pulse width and ignition timing in cooperation with a knock detector controller (FIG. 49), and upon detection of abnormal data received from sensors display a warning of the abnormality, and in the event of seriously abnormal data being detected transmits a pseudo signal to ensure that the vehicle keeps running.

    摘要: The present invention provides a VCM driver realizing low power consumption and high accuracy and a PWM amplifier compensating a dead time distortion. A phase compensator, a ΔS modulator receiving an output signal of the phase compensator and converting the output signal to a control code of predetermined bits, a PWM modulator receiving the control code to produce a PWM signal, and an output circuit receiving the PWM signal to drive a voice coil constitute a forward path. A sense amplifier sensing a current of the voice coil, an ADC receiving an output signal of the sense amplifier, a low-pass filter receiving an output signal of the ADC, and a decimation filter receiving an output signal of the low-pass filter constitute a feedback path. An output signal of the decimation filter is fed back to the input side of the phase compensator to form a major feedback loop having a first-order characteristic loop gain. An output signal of the decimation filter is fed back to the output side of the phase compensator to form a minor feedback loop having a loop gain which is flat until a target band frequency when viewed from the output side of the phase compensator.
