    摘要: A clear coating for top coating of automobiles which comprises a half-esterified acid group-containing acrylic copolymer (I) and a silicate-grafted acrylic copolymer (II) as resin constituents, said half-esterified acid group-containing acrylic copolymer (I) being obtainable by: preparing a copolymer from an acid anhydride group-containing, radical-polymerizable monomer (I-a) and another radical-polymerizable monomer (I-b) and then half-esterifying said acid anhydride group with a low-molecular alcohol compound, said silicate-grafted copolymer (II) being obtainable by grafting a silicate compound (II-B) onto a hydrolyzable silyl-containing copolymer (II-A), the amount of said silicate compound (II-B) grafted being 5 to 50% by mass (on solids basis) relative to the total amount of said resin constituents.

    摘要: The great decrease of the curing time (in particular, halving) of acid/epoxy curing system paint and the further improvement of other performances (in particular, film performance). A two packages type thermosetting resin composition comprising (a) an acid anhydride group-containing acryl resin having an acid anhydride group of 0.08 to 5.3 mmol/g (solid content) and a number average molecular weight of 500 to 8000 that is obtained by copolymerizing an acid anhydride group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer with an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having no acid anhydride group, (b) a carboxylic group-containing polyester resin having a carboxylic group of 0.8 to 6.3 mmol/g (solid content) and a number average molecular weight of 400 to 3500 and a ratio of weight average molecular weight to number average molecular weight of 1.8 or less that is obtained by reacting an acid anhydride group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer with polyester polyol having 3 or more of hydroxyl groups, and (c) an acryl resin with hydroxyl groups and epoxy groups having a hydroxyl group of 0.08 to 5.4 mmol/g (solid content), an epoxy group of 1.2 to 10.0 mmol/g (solid content) and a number average molecular weight of 200 to 10000 that is obtained by copolymerizing a hydroxyl group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer and an epoxy group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer with an ethylenically unsaturated monomer not having a hydroxyl group and an epoxy group.

    摘要: It is an object of the invention to provide a clear coating composition, which can give coating films showing good water repellency, in other words a factor giving a care-free and deluxe feeling to car owners, and which are excellent in non-sanding recoatability in recoating dirtied coatings after due repair, as well as a method of forming a coating film and a multilayerd coating film. The invention provides a clear coating composition which comprises (A) 100 parts by mass of the sum of a crosslinkable coating film-forming resin and a crosslinking agent on the solid basis and (B) 0.01 to 2 parts by mass of a ladder silicone copolymer obtainable by copolymerizing (b-1) a (meth)acryloxyalkyl-containing ladder silicone oligomer, (b-2) a crosslinkable functional group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer and optionally (b-3) another copolymerizable ethylenically unsaturated monomer.

    摘要: Disclosed is an organic polymer microparticle which is obtainable from copolymerization of (a) an ethylenically unsaturated amine polymer obtained by reacting an amine polymer having at least two primary amino groups with 0.01 to 0.99 molar equivalents based on the amount of the primary amino group, of an unsaturation introducing monomer having at least one functional group which is reactive with the primary amino group and an ethylenic double bond with (b) 10 to 99000 parts by weight based on the total amount (100 parts by weight) of the amine polymer and the unsaturation introducing monomer, of a matrix forming ethylenically unsaturated monomer, in an aqueous medium.     摘要: An automotive clear coating composition includes a hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin obtained using hydroxyalkyl(meth)acrylate having a hydroxyalkyl group having 4-9 carbon atoms as at least a part of its monomer; and a polyfunctional isocyanate compound in which at least a part thereof is an isocyanurate type isocyanate compound. The prepared composition has 25 to 50 mass % of a soft segment part with respect to a total solid content of such acrylic resin and the polyfunctional isocyanate compound, and a ratio of a soft segment part derived from a lactone-containing monomer with respect to the total solid content of such acrylic resin and the polyfunctional isocyanate compound of not more than 4.5 mass %. A cured coating film has a dynamic glass transition temperature within a range of 30 to 60° C. The soft segment part is represented by —CH2)n— wherein n represents an integer of 4 or more.
