摘要： A method and apparatus for applying packaging material to workpieces, with a high degree of precision, and resulting articles. A machine vision system including at least one camera is operably associated with a computer controlling a system for application of material so that the system may recognize the position and orientation of workpieces proximate to which the material is to be applied. The requirement for precise mechanical workpiece alignment is eliminated, and the ability of the machine vision system to recognize size, configuration and topography of different workpieces affords greater manufacturing flexibility. The method includes application of flowable material in separate volumes and draws formation of the material to at least a semisolid state for packaging electronic components, and the electronic components so packaged are also part of the invention.

摘要： Methods are provided for automatic cleaning of gripper belts and rollers within a self-service dispensing device. In an embodiment, a cleaning station located in a storage bin of the dispensing device is used to perform the automatic cleaning. The cleaning station is retrofitted into an existing storage bin of the dispensing device. In another embodiment, an interactive slot mechanism of the dispensing device is modified to hold a cleaning case and provide cleaning fluid to clean the belts and/or rollers. In another embodiment, a cleaning case contains a reservoir of cleaning fluid and a pad saturated with the cleaning fluid to clean the internal belts and roller. Furthermore the cleaning case may contain an automatic lid to maintain saturation of the pads and to keep debris from the cleaning case itself.

Next, heat and pressure are applied to facilitate the diffusion of the polymer molecules at the interface. A diffusion weld is made when the polymer molecules diffuse across the interface.

摘要： An induction heating system comprises inductive rings, which in one example are concentrically wound about a center axis to form a coil array. The inductive rings are situated in the coil array to permit activation of the inductive rings independent of the other inductive rings in the coil array. In one embodiment, the induction heating system includes a control structure with a power supply and switches coupled to each of the inductive rings, wherein activation of the switches permits current from the power supply to flow to the corresponding inductive ring. The induction heating system is amenable to appliances such as ovens and ranges, as well as to cooktops such as free-standing cooktops for countertops.

The data structure may be stored in a file system maintained on a site, and sites may exchange information related to the notification data stored on each. In some embodiments, a query which is issued to a site may be processed using data transferred from other sites, and/or may be split into one or more additional queries which may be transmitted for processing to other sites.
