    摘要： Disclosed herein is an articulated guidewire for insertion into a blood vessel. The articulated guidewire includes a rotatable sensor cable, a sensor, a connector, and a satellite wire. The sensor cable has a proximal end and a distal end. A sensor connects to the sensor cable near the distal end and rotates with the sensor cable. The satellite wire attaches to the distal end of the sensor cable and holds the sensor cable in the blood vessel. The connector includes a ball and socket joint which aligns the satellite wire and the sensor cable at a variable angle.

    摘要： A monitored inline hard water processing assembly for conditioning hard water includes a cannister, which is cathodic, a disc, and a rod, which is anodic. The disc is removably couplable to a top of the cannister. The disc has a pair of channels positioned therethrough, each of which is in fluidic communication with an interior space defined by the cannister. The rod is removably couplable to the disc so that the rod is electrically insulated from the disc and extends into the interior space. A monitoring unit, which is electrically coupled to the cannister and the rod, is operationally couplable to a source of electrical current to provide a flow of direct current through the rod, the cannister, and water flowing therethrough. The monitoring unit comprises an indicator, which can indicate at least two resistance states of the rod.

    摘要： A multi-part automotive wheel comprises first and second wheel discs having first and second mating surfaces, respectively, where the first and second discs are to be joined to each other. An annular radial groove is disposed on one of the first and second surfaces for receiving an O-ring for sealing the first surface in respect of the second surface. The groove includes a substantially radial basewall and first and second sidewalls which extend from the basewall toward an intermediate section and from the section toward both edges of the groove, the edges defining a radial groove opening which is smaller than a distance between the sidewalls at the section such that an O-ring having a larger cross-sectional diameter larger than the opening will be retained within the groove prior to the discs being joined together. The basewall merges with the first and second sidewalls with rounded corners to reduce concentration of stress at the corners.
