摘要: Hydrogen gas is circulated to cool an electric rotating machine main body, and brush seals are provided to contact a predetermined position on the outer circumferential surface of a rotating shaft. As a result, contact of a sealing oil and the hydrogen gas, contact of a lubricating oil and the sealing oil in the bearing, and leakage of the hydrogen gas outside the machine are prevented.

摘要: A driving force control system for a vehicle having a mechanism for changing an engine speed continuously. The driving force control system basically controls said mechanism in a manner such that the engine speed is adjusted to optimize fuel economy. The driving force control system is configured to determine an index representing a demand to enhance agility of behavior of the vehicle based on an actual behavior of the vehicle or an amount of operation carried out by a driver to cause said behavior. An upper limit value of the engine speed of the case in which a drive demand is increased is determined on the basis of the index, and the upper limit value is set to the higher value with an increase in the index representing the demand to enhance agility of behavior of the vehicle.

摘要: Apparatus for the storage of ice which includes a housing for storing pieces of ice. The housing is shaped in the form of a frustum, is interiorly thermally insulated at least on the sidewall and has a top feeding opening and a bottom outlet opening. The scratching-off device is positioned adjacent the bottom opening. The ice is scratched off and dropped continually downwardly toward a delivery station positioned below the scratching-off device and communicating with the bottom opening, where the pieces of ice are removed. The apparatus may also include a measuring device positioned adjacent the delivery station, with which a definite amount of ice delivered from the delivery station is measured out. Thus it is possible to remove pieces of ice stored smoothly, continually and efficiently.

摘要: An apparatus for transferring solids is provided with a sealed chamber adapted to suck in and exhaust the solids together with a liquid transfer medium so as to transfer them. Air in the sealed chamber is exhausted by a decompressing means connected to the sealed chamber and thereby the solids are introduced into the sealed chamber with the use of air as a transfer medium. The sealed chamber is connected to a feeding means for feeding the sealed chamber with the liquid and to a transfer pump for discharging the liquid fed into the sealed tank together with the solids out of the sealed chamber.
